I’ll Never buy from here again. Brand New car required replacement. So much trouble to get them to acknowledge and eventually replace . Even replacement had delivery problems. This Customer never forgets. So long.

Dont even waste your time going here, I put down a deposit and signed a purchase contract and aparently "secured" the car by doing so, so I was told by the dealer only to be called later the same day saying some guy came in and bought the car on the spot. They dont care about there customers one bit! Manager is rude, shocking way to treat people! Dont waste your time with them

Went to Holden for a service last month -

Told I needed two new tyres, rotors and break pads - as our car is only 12months old thought this was strange

Went to another break specialist and they said tyres are okay for now - break pads and rotors have anther 10,000km !!!!

    Would not recommend at all!!!

I think because as a girl they felt they could take advantage of me and scrap extra money out of my pocket - ridiculous!!!!

Would not recommend servicing your car here.

I bought a used VE Commodore from City Motors Holden 5 months ago. As the car had predominantly been serviced at City Motors, I figured I would maintain the service history with them. Bad idea.
While it was easy and quick to get the car booked in, the amount of time I had to spend dealing with the consequences of servicing my car here was not worth it.

When I picked up my car and turned it on, smoke was coming out from under the bonnet. Not just a little smoke either. This isn't reassuring after you've just paid close to $600 for a service. One of the service team members reassured me it was "probably just oil dropped onto the exhaust during the oil change". I was told to bring it back the next day if there was still smoke. Again, not reassuring.

The second problem that immediately presented itself on the drive home from City Motors was a loud knocking sound every time I went around a corner. The knocking got worse each day and I brought the car back. I was sent on a drive with a mechanic who could hear the knocking and wrote down the possible causes. When we got back to the service centre, I was immediately told "this is not covered under warranty" and that it will "cost you a lot of money to diagnose the problem". Not only could they not diagnose the problem, they were already telling me that the problem they haven't even identified is not covered under warranty? Amazing!
They told me it was extensive wear on the suspension (the suspension had apparently been examined during the service and no extensive wear was noted on the service sheets). To my disbelief, they even tried talking me down- saying it was not important and not a vital part of the safeness of my car and that they want to book me in for new tyres! Incredible; not only trying to avoid the problem but trying to make more money on something completely irrelevant!

Straight after the complete waste of time at City Motors that day, I took my car to a trusted family mechanic. He not only was able to diagnose the problem but also was in disbelief that a Holden dealership had serviced my car as there was oil dropped EVERYWHERE in the engine bay. No pride or care was taken.

Now having a report from another mechanic, I brought the car back to City Motors. After a couple of hours of waiting (which I didn't mind as long as they fixed my car) they brought my keys out and said all done. They were hesitant to explain what had happened to the car but eventually said it was caused by the way they lifted the car during the service (of course, explained in a careful way to not actually take responsibility or even give a simple apology). I was told I would be emailed a report but I am yet to receive one a month later.

I am grateful they were eventually able to find the problem and fix it, even though they didn't want to take responsibility for it and even tried their best to completely avoid it!

I definitely won't be returning to City Motors for a car service.

While I did call to have an uncomfortable conversation I was extremely polite and diplomatic but only to be treated rudely and cut off abruptly at the end of the conversation. You cannot assume that everyone with a compliant will be rude and therefore treat them so.

Friendly staff who remember you and treat you like an individual. If your car is your pride and joy you can trust it will be properly looked after here.

Dropped my VXR in for a service after being offered a next day booking. Well looked after and provided with a loan car free of charge. No hidden charges or issues, just a good service all round

Had only taken my Holden to City Motors for servicing since moving to Perth. Will not be going back and recommend others not to as they will not guarantee the safety of your car while it is parked in their own private carpark. Dropped my car at the very front car park bay next to the reception door last week at 8am. Walked out at 12pm after paying to pick it up to find a huge dent (not a small tap) in the rear of my car. Came running back in shocked. Unless I had asked for the manager I would have been sent away with a "sorry but it was marked with the dent when it was driven in for the service so our team didn't do it". Was effectively told the same thing by Management who said they would look at cameras over night. The whole service experience was poor. The next day the Manager (Shane) agreed to refund my service, which doesn't cover my insurance excess but continued to imply I drove in like that (I know I didn't as I would have seen the dent when I walked away that morning) as their team didn't do it. In the time I was waiting for Shane to discuss my issue I saw 2 trucks drive through at fast speed in the carpark, and overheard the reception team discussing my incident and how trucks come through at fast speeds all the time. I am not implying the service team hit my car, it was likely someone did between me parking it (out the front) and the mechanic driving into the service bay. However, there appears to be no risk management, no cameras to view incidents, no care if it happens. It's not like I parked in the street, I was inside the lot. For the sake of a few hundred dollars they could have got the apprentice in the panel shop they have on site do the repairs at cost and they would have had a happy customer. Very upset at the whole experience.

Ironically visited looking for a Ford; whilst it's a funny spot for a car yard, I ended up getting really well looked after by Paul. I'm not a fan of dealerships from experience, but they had the car I actually wanted so I'm glad I made the trip.

Often I find that the car dealer talks so much that I can't get a feel for the car, this guy was so helpful but not in my face so I was really comfortable with the car. Staff were neatly presented, the offices were comfortable but it looks like the new car section is the real "modern" customer area (probably have a proper milk frother too!). All in all I'd have to say that I'd come back again based on experience with Paul (there was another guy who was helpful too) despite the price premium vs private - I've been stuck before with private purchases and sales, this was a fast way to get what I needed done. So far so good with the car! As far as dealerships go, definitely check them out.

Bad experience from the panel shop. Received text message saying car was ready but when I called them they said it was not.
When the car was received, then engine had a ticking tappet sound and they recommended to take the car to the service department. The service department said to take it back to the panel shop, it was not their problem. The departments are not linked and nobody wanted to take responsibility and assist. From a customer service point of view the experience was overly stressful and unwarranted. Never again.

My family has dealt with Graham Mitchell every time we have purchased a car (which is 6 times!). He makes you feel welcome & is very knowlegable. The staff have all been friendly. Whilst doing my handover today I found Jarrod was extremely helpful. Awesome job 😊😊

Buying a car from City Motors Perth was a very easy and pleasant experience.

The entire staff is very easy to deal with, especially Mr. Kiaren Lever, who was very friendly and helpful and not pushy like other salesmen I've dealt with.

They had the car ready to go in less than 24 hours, so I couldn't be happier.

If you are looking to buy a car, I recommend you to go and see them. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you, guys. Keep up the good work!

I recently purchased an SV6 VF Commodore at City Motors and Jared Sexton did a fine job of looking after me. On the day of the purchase it was raining and fairly dark in the showroom. We both inspected my new vehicle and at the time found everything to be in order. A few days later in sunny bright conditions I became aware of several scratches on my brand new vehicle. I hadn't driven or stored the vehicle in any manner where the scratches could have come about. When I rang and told Jared about what I had found at first he seemed hesitant on believing my story. Then after showing him in bight sunlight conditions Jared promptly drove my vehicle to the workshop where these issues were resolved. All my questions on the day Jared answered in a friendly and comprehensive manner. Thank you very much for your honest service.
