Bought a dog collar there yesterday. The sales girl was very helpful and naturally friendly .
Absolutely love the staff here. Just a shame that the store cockatoo, George, is no longer there.
Ordered and paid for 4 large bags of clay clumping litter in April 2016, still have no stock and no idea when stock will arrive, OK can't blame staff for that, but can blame the fact that staff have no interest in follow-up or contacting me, except for once last month to say would be willing to offer smaller bags as same weight per dollar price, then refusing to advise store manager that the phone call was placed.WTF?? Not Good Enough!
I have been a very loyal customer to City Farmers Mandurah over the past 15 years but today marked my last visit there. After waiting near the cash register for a few minutes and all the staff doing their best to ignore me, I was finally served by Amy. She was extremely abrupt & clearly has no customer service skills whatsover. Nor did she have any manners. After saying 'membership' no please, thank you.I handed my card over and said 'thank you, you're welcome' she just glared at me, told me how much I owed and handed the receipt. Not once did she say thank you. My business will be going to PETstock and I will be sure to tell every single one of my pet owning friends to do the same. No stars!
Good prices generally but even better discounts. Large store with lots of space. Modern fit out. Have dog wash facilities, A good range of toys and feed for most animals. Small selection of gardening supplies also. Friendly staff that can sometimes be hard to pin down. Stock of some regular items can dry up for weeks at a time but I would come here before any other suppliers in town.
Just came back from the store now after walking group & then shopping on a 33°c day. Been driving between Pinjarra,Booragoon then Mandurah & Home. There were only two girls working there,I walked past both & Not one word from either. Found the fish weed myself, very little of choice/range, then walked around the store for some service. I asked alot of questions because of the heat outside_not alot of answers then was told to go down front to pay for the fish & weed. The girl who served me wrapped up a small bag of fish weed with NO WATER! They had nearly dried out! The fish bag had NO AIR pumped into it, just what was trapped in bag. I stood at the front till for about 9mins & was just about to go & walk out without paying when one girl came down to take my money then asked if I'd like to join the membership club. Had to because the pet shops are so spread out around the peel region. Just moved here & would like to find a better store!!!
After going there today with a very anxious dog, I was offered no assistance. I asked where thunder jackets were and it was called across the room from the register "on the back wall to ya right!!" , I was waiting for some help to size my dog up but no one came. I saw a man walking through and asked him for help, he stuck his finger up (as in, just a minute) continued to the front register then took off down to the back!! This is when I walked out. Not the first time this has happened but certainly the worst.
