Service is excellent! We go here whenever we can. Can't find a more friendly local butcher anywhere. Not only is the service and set out brilliant, but the quality of the meat is outstanding. We come out with a couple of bags every time; can't get enough! Highly recommend.

Carseldine Quality Meats really has gone down hill fast. It wasn’t so bad when it had just changed hands to the new owners, I did notice that the service had taken a bit of dive and the prices went up but still persisted because the quality of the meat was fairly good. But the past couple of visits have been disappointing, the sirloin we paid $33 per kilo for today had a layer of sludge on it and was unevenly cut.
It pains me to write this as i really try to support small businesses, but I won’t be going back.

Worst experience ever. My wife walked into this place on my recommendation thinking of it as good place. She asked for 2 kgs of Maryland chicken to be skinned off and cut to small pieces. He had all sorts of excuses and winching. He wanted to blame me for asking to do what I wanted. If he was a genuine butcher what he should have done was say that they don't do that at all and I would have been fine with it. Instead he wanted to winch about it and make me feel bad about asking what I wanted. I was even happy to pay extra for skinning and cutting, I did offer him that too. I will never ever be going back there and would suggest people to stay away from that place.

Was in the shop at 3.36pm and asked for lamb shanks diced up. The guy outright said no as 'we close at 4 and have washed up the machine.' Said can come back in the morning..how about I rather to Warburtons and get better customer service. Dont think I would go back there with that attitude towards customers.
