Sensational stay for work with Captains at the Bay. We were in The Loft and it was exceptional, downstairs with a TV and bathroom and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The breakfast was also fantastic, simple eggs and bacon on toast.

This is a wonderful little inn in Apollo Bay. The rooms are of good size, clean and updated. The location is perfect for walking around town or exploring the local area. The best part of our stay - the couple who are in charge - Anna and Duncan. They are extremely friendly and willing to provide whatever you need to ensure your stay is perfect.

Our stay at the captains bay was exquisite! We stayed at “the bridge” and it was awesome and very clean. Anna and Duncan was very hospitable, we were treated like a 5 star guest. Very highly recommended, and would be staying there again. My only feedback is they probably have to work on wifi connection, maybe getting a wifi extender. As it didn’t reach our room, but other than it was absolutely great,, oh by the way the breakfast was delish! Simple but delicious, thanks to Duncan

Great spot, just far enough from the main road to be lovely and quiet at night but the shortest of walks to the beach and main street. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as being very knowledgeable about the area, with lots of pointers about avoiding crowds and making the most of the Great Ocean Road. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed in winter, and found our room already heated up for us to a lovely temperature. Bathrooms are luxurious, with an enormous walk in shower and a large bath, with plenty of water pressure to relax and enjoy. Beds are very comfortable, with very soft sheets and good quality pillows. Every room has a little outdoor relaxing area with a couple of chairs. They looked nice but as it was cold and wet out we didn't use them. Prices are quite reasonable for a very cosy and friendly facility that helps you make the most of a trip on the Great Ocean Road. Strongly recommended.

A very cozy and friendly place. Good for excursions to Otway National Park and around. We are glad to have spend our Christmas Eve here, at the bay, on the beach.;-)

Fantastic rooms, location and great service. Outstanding breakfast!!! Would go back again and again. Delightful town to explore. Wished for more time to visit. Great stop for an Ocean Road trip!

This was a surprise discovery and it fulfilled our needs perfectly. Staying in the Captain's Cottage with the warmth of a fireplace added to a lovely romantic weekend. Facilties and staff were amazing .. highly recommended to visit anytime

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very welcome smile and friendly service.
The room had absolutely stunning views and we were able to see the Apollo Bay foreshore from the bed while relaxing.
The room was absolutely stunning itself and had everything we could have asked for. 5/5 and we would definitely stay there again

Very nice. Great service and extremely nice rooms. Breakfast could do with a bit of variety given the price. The only options are eggs and bacon. Stayed in the building by the road and there was no noise in the evening but we were waken by the trucks dropping off stuff at the supermarket opposite in the morning.
