I am fortunate enough to live near the farmer's market and make a regular habit of Saturday morning shopping there. I have gotten to know some of the sellers of fruits and vegetables, fish, mushrooms, flowers, and many specialist in organic products such as biodynamic beef. The popularity of the farmers market has grown enormously over the years, reflecting growing interest of Canberra residents in the quality and freshness of the food they eat.
