I have been incredibly impressed with the staff and set up of this vet. They are currently treating my very poorly dog and have been so kind and considerate with their care and in their communication with me. I am so glad I dropped in and will be eternally thankful for the professionalism and skill that has been shown so far.
I've been taking my spoodle to Canterbury Veterinary for 7 years now, have always received the best care and attention. Treatments and advice from Linda and other vets there is always very sensible and well-considered. Having said that, my dog usually seems to stage a miraculous recovery in the waiting room before we even see the vet! Happy to recommend.
Treated my dog for Pancreatitis, in a kind and considerate manner.
I've had two visits to this vet, as my regular vet was closed, and both in sad circumstances with critically sick dogs who both passed away (a month apart). The vets were kind, caring and despite not knowing me or my dogs went over and above in their care for both of my dogs. In particular on the second visit the vet was on her own and busy yet despite this showed such kindness and compassion to my dog and my clearly distressed family when it would have been far easier for her to send us to the 24 hr Emergency Clinic (which I just couldn't face again so soon after the death of my first dog there). I am so grateful for this and the way she took charge of the situation and managed the peaceful death of our second dog. Thank you.
We now have new puppies and despite being a drive rather than a walk away I'll be attending this vet with both of them from the start. Both vets we saw, and the receptionists, were professional, sensible kind and caring, and they have great facilities and set up there.
I love this clinic and all the lovely staff - they are so thorough and caring :)
I am glad you not only see exotics but have 25 years experience treating them. Thanks for the tour of your facilities, I am very impressed with your investment with the latest technologies including digital X Ray and Ultrasound. It means you will only operate if after using this equipment, it is required. It is so well set up I felt I was in a human hospital.
Good vet, lots of pet food too.
Our 14 year old dog Chad was starting to become stiff with arthritis. We had tried monthly injections which worked for a couple of years. Due to the staff at the Canterbury Veterenary Clinic's care and guidance, Chad has now had stem cells and is back to his bouncy self. Overall, the competence and friendliness of the staff is tremendous. Would highly recommend this.
Most animals are scared to go to the vet, but that isn't the case with my pup Hadley. The nurses and vets are so lovely to Hadley and I, she actually tries to run down their driveway when we are on walks so she can visit them. She absolutely loves going there despite broken bones, surgeries, changed bandages and injections.
The price is less than our previous vet but even if it wasn't we would continue to go back as it is such a positive experience for Hadley.
