All small things.. fresh water pearls.. to particual area body massage.. .. food to swimming costume i guess must visit place along with lagoon
Love the hustle and bustle of the night markets. Vibrant atmosphere, great for picking up a souvenir or two! At of course typical touristy prices. Some good little finds. Has fast food/street food outlets at back.
Love this place. So many souvenir options at good prices. Definitely get some 3d post cards. You don't even need to mail them, keep them for yourselves or give them as gifts.
I didn't buy all that I needed because I thought I could get things in Sydney, boy was I wrong. Sydney seems to be a few seasons behind.
The shops open at 5pm so if you get here early just stroll along the beachwalk and people watch or have dinner in the food court
A favourite place for tourists and locals alike with a great variety of stores including souvenirs, pearls, massage and a food court with lots of Asian food and a Coffee Club. Best place to score a cheap but great massage followed by a feed and a leisurely stroll along the Esplanade on a balmy evening. The sweet crepes are the stuff of legend and you will find great food outlets at both ends of the markets. Warning - the massage places will approach you 100% of the time, they're very competitive so if you're not interested in a massage just be prepared to be approached multiple times.
Very cruisy, recommend for families. Great parkland and man made lagoon. Sat AM markets. Take bathers. Council provides music. Great views.
Retail evening markets. Many different types of things including a glass blower and jewelry maker. Massage therapy students and asian food court.
It is Cairns. .I have no complaints. .
When you come to Cairns from the USA you will understand. This place is nothing like a tourist beach town in the USthis is still a civilized country. when an Aussies says "no drama" they mean "no drama" you will get this anywhere in Cairns
Great experience when in Cairns! Good variety and eating options, though mostly on the sweeter side. Draws a crowd, which adds to the buzz. Recommended
Busy place, lots to see. I've never ever come across so many ice cream shops before. I swear you had one almost every 50 meters.
If you like knickknacks then this is the place for you. I couldn't find anything i wanted to bring back for the kids though.
Great place with a brilliant nightlife atmosphere. Good place to buy souvenirs, get cheap dinner, or relax with a massage. Unfortunately there isn't much else. Always busy at night. It is best to come at least half an hour after opening time because the stalls take a little while to open in the afternoon.
I am a local in Cairns. And the night markets have the yummiest deserts I love the churros amd the crepes. Also a few shops that we visit like the bamboo shop World's comfiest underwear So all the family have been converted 😛. Also the little hippie shop has some great clothes that is suited for our weather and she custom maked some beady jewellery pieces for myself and friends The massages are good for a cheap solution to a stiff neck or shoulders.. Don't need am appointment
It was too crowded for my liking. Cheap goods on offer. The prices asked weren't a true reflection of the quality. Okay for a browse.
Many stalls offering the same items (probably because they are owned by the same company). Many stalls offering massages. These markets used to have a large range of items but not so much now.
Loved this market for shopping for souvenirs and hand made stuff. Didn't try the food but it's clean and not too over whelming compare to other night markets. Not too crazy about it being indoor. An outdoor night market would have been wonderful hence the three stars. But a must visit if you are staying in cairns.
The indoor food court was not good at all. You buy different sized plates for a set price and load them up by yourself. The night market is quite small, good for some souvenirs. The prices were not too bad. Not a must go to place if it's out of your way, but worth checking out if you're staying nearby.
