  Melissa was amazing. She was upfront and direct the whole time, which kept my expectations realistic. Her attention to detail and hard work was impressive. She is extremely knowledgeable and I count not have achieved what I did without her. I am very grateful.

  Melissa is highly ethical. Many years ago my grandchild was legally abused by the previous owner of this firm her name was Julia Johnston. I have done some research and now aware this firm has no ties with Julia. The current owner Melissa is incredibly insightful, genuinely deeply compassionate and has integrity in abiding by processes that protect the child and making that the primary focus. I wish you and your staff all the best in your efforts to keep our children protected from harm/abuse/neglect

  I had been to a few lawyers before I came here. Natalija was very professional, very punctual and very patient with me as when it comes to my childs safety things can get heated as anyone new to this situation will tell you. She itemised every expense, was always in touch before hearings and informed me of any time she would be unavailable which her colleague would then cover.
  
  I considered my case extremely messy and was glad to have someone of her character representing me.

  Highly recommend this firm. Always very welcoming on the phone, special mention to Karen, who always had a happy caring manner, when I was calling. I dealt primarily with Melissa, she always went above and beyond, very patient and understanding. At times when she was away, I would be notified and her associates were always brought up to date with my case and able to help me with any queries.
  Going through the family court system is one of the hardest experiences I have had to endure and I appreciate I had Melissa there, guiding me along the way. She made the experience as bearable as humanly possible.
  Have no hesitation to recommend Melissa and her colleagues to anyone looking for advice and/or representation.

  I could not be happier with the professionalism, understanding and dignity of Calverley Johnston Lawyers. Julia Prior was referred to me by Legal Aid. She was prepared, took initiate and, what is very rare these days, showed compassion under very stressful circumstances.
