My wife and I have purchased a home at Blueheath we were originally not going to live in a 50's style estate but buy a block of land and build a house but after a meeting with David and having seen what other over 50's estates had to offer we changed our mind and the service by sales and management during and after the sale has been excellent they have bent over backwards to cater for our every needs especially moving from our old house to our new one. The homes are well built and appointed and we are excited to move in. We recommend you talk to David at Blueheath and find out for yourself.

Where do we start with all the positives of Blueheath at the Bower. My husband Gary & I have recently moved into the village, moving from Queensland to downsize near family. We knew Medowie was the place for us to live & when we called into Blueheath to see what it was all about we were blown away. David, the village manager/concierge was so very honest & informative when he showed us around that we left the village with all the information we needed to make an informed decision & we returned the next day to sign up for one of the Villas. “Perfect for us” is something we say every day since moving in & how very exciting that we are going to watch this amazing village grow. Our villa is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom & double garage. Everything about our villa is just right, with ample storage, 3 great sized bedrooms, the 2 bathrooms are are fitted out beautifully & with plenty of room, the kitchen has absolutely everything we need & is beautifully designed. We have a beautiful spot to sit in the sun on the cold winter mornings & of a night we are kept cozy by the ducted air conditioning. Out the back of our villa we have a wonderful area for family summer bbqs & a garden that we can either look after ourselves or the village gardener will take care of. The gardens in the village are all beautiful & very natural & they are perfect for the Medowie location. The location of Blueheath is so peaceful & quiet yet only a few minutes from the local shops, 20 minutes to Raymond Terrace, 15 minutes to Newcastle airport & 30 minutes to Newcastle or Nelson’s bay. Everything about Blueheath & the villas has been done with a lot of thought & a lot of care. We know we have made the right decision & we very strongly recommend you check out Blueheath at the Bower if you are planning on downsizing as you will be delighted with what you see. Best over 50’s village in the district! Huge range of house plans to choose from, all with well thought out styles and inclusions. Hidden away from main roads but perfectly situated at 30 minutes from the Bay, Newcastle and Maitland, and only 5 minutes from the Pacific Highway. David (village manager) is very honest and approachable and goes out of his way to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. Village looks great already and will be beautiful when finished.

I am moving in this weekend and I am extremely happy with the unit. The quality of the unit both inside and out is outstanding, the inclusions are modern and well done.
David the manager has been extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
It's locality is great, on the road to Nelson Bay and the Highway north as well as a mere 5 minutes to shops.response / report this review -
