I love this place. The property is on 113 acreas and includes an orchard and open spaces. It's right on the banks of the Barron River and you can choose to pull a park down at the river area, amongst the fruit trees in the orchard or in the open. There are no marked sites so you're not limited to van size. The owners, Trevor & Linda are 2 of the friendliest hosts I've met. They are always on for a chat and very knowlegable about the area. They property hosts over 40 species of birds so a great place for birders.
In 2016 we came for 2 nights and stayed for 9 then came back in 2017 and stayed for 8 weeks.
Not much here but well maintained.
The best three and a half weeks I've had camping on a farm. Trevor and Linda are lovely, very personable and welcoming to help anyone. If you have time stop in on your way up Cape York.
