  Favourite campground so far of all the Tinaroo spots. Platypus has clean toilets and a shower cubicle (BYO shower). Plenty of grassy spots to throw a picnic blanket

  We weren´t sure where to spend the weekend, but Petere at Cairns Discount Tours sent us to the Platypus Campground. Lovely lovely area. Reminded us a lot of scandinavia. Very windy, so be sure to bring warm clothes. Will be back!
