Extremely disappointed. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars and not 1 is because of the friendliness of the staff towards the animals. But don't let that fool you. These people will rip you off and try to cross-sell you, upsell, and generally try to trick you into paying more at every given opportunity, all with a sweet smile. If you are new to this place, be cautious. Having a sick pet makes you vulnerable to fear tactics and unnecessary expenses. If you are a new dog owner, please for the love of god, DO YOUR RESEARCH and make sure you get all the details of hidden expenses and "optional" expenses. Otherwise, you WILL be bled dry. I even checked these reviews before going to this place but didn't take them seriously. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Read the negative reviews here and please seriously reconsider taking your pet here. I consider myself a reasonable person, but I just can't ignore how much of a rip off this place is. I can't imagine how many poor people have been taken advantage of by "Greencross/Bayswater Vets." I attended puppy class, but will never be coming back here again.
Great staff on the desk and especially the vets themselves. Options for treatment given without pressuring the most expensive. My Little man is never stressed out knowing he's headed there.
I just completed Puppy School with Forest and I've got to say that I think it was totally worth it. Megan was a friendly and knowledgeable teacher who incorporated a lot of insight, training AND play into the classes, which I loved. Forest benefitted a lot from playing with the other puppies and these classes have made him much more confident and relaxed around other dogs. Highly recommended!
Not a great experience with Bayswater Vets. Friendly staff but seem to try milk the pet owners that don't know much about pets. It was our first puppy and our first & second vaccination were done here. We were charged for multiple things we never really wanted. Charged for nail clippings before letting us know there was a fee.
Furthermore, desexing was quoted prior to arriving to the clinic and price was not honoured. Lots of time wasted during this process due to miscommunication.
I will not recommend this clinic for first pet owners.
Wonderful and friendly vet! Dr. Peter is always professional and kind, and did an outstanding job fixing up our poor cat who got a very nasty broken leg. They always go the extra mile, and even do call-outs.
My last dog passed away suddenly, but we will definitely be back with our new puppy - great staff
We really appreciated all the time the Vet gave us and they had reasonable prices. Very happy to recommend
Never use Bayswater Veterinary Clinic. Misdiagnosed and overcharged my son. $345 to assess our pup with a nasal discharge. When I confronted the next morning, I queried each line item including two items for injections and two for injection 'services'. Told us he needed cough syrup, $45, for Kennel Cough so that the pup didn't keep us awake coughing. Our pup did not have a cough, he did not have Kennel Cough. No pathology tests were done. The vet grabbed the detailed invoice from me and said that I my son shouldn't have seen it then he prompty screwed it up and put it in the bin. I told him to give it back as we had paid in it. Disgusting unprofessional behaviour.
Never again , very disappointed, high charges , slow response,
I was extremely disappointed with this vet clinic. I took my dog in for a very minor cut toe and left with a $370 bill which is outrageous. I called them afterwards to explain that I felt like I was ripped off and nobody even had the decency to call me back like they promised to do. An absolute rip off and I will not be back!
We love Bayswater Vet Clinic so much, the staff are great and we know our pets are in perfect hands! Couldn't recommend them more! Definitely the place to go if you want quality service and price! Thank you Bayswater Vet Clinic staff!!
