Staff will tailor a specific solution for all your skating needs, then invite you to join their many social events.

Made the trip from Geelong yesterday to try the Moxi skate range. Service from Cuong was 5 star in every way-from initial phone call, greeting upon arrival and attention to detail with measurements, explanation of skate types, wheels, bearings etc. Really refreshing to see such passion and professional service, which seems a rarity these days! If you need skates or skating related products or advice, this is definitely the place to visit! And they are open 7 day!!!

Was looking for skates to increase my speed, and from the detailed questions asked, the staff were able to narrow down exactly which boot, frame, wheels and bearings I would need for the style of skating I was looking for.

It saved me from buying what I thought I was looking for, and instead, buying what would allow me to enjoy my skating even more. It also allowed me to avoid a steep learning curve by not making a huge switch in setup.

The amount of detailed questions that were asked made it clear that they truly know what you are looking for and this expertise is something you don't find in many places. Would definitely recommend you pay them a visit.

This is a lengthy review:

Bayside blades were recommended by the Roller Derby league closest to me, whom I wanted to join late October 2016. I have since joined the Roller Derby league, January 2017.

I knew nothing about Roller Derby gear, though I tried my best to do as much research as possible. The lady who served me plays Roller Derby for a different league to me her Roller Derby experience and store experience are highly professional, relevant, and informative just really, really excellent.

I asked heaps of questions, did lots and lots of research very, very happy with my gear and I am really knowledgeable now !!!

I bought like 99% of my WFTDA Roller Derby gear there the rest they didn't sell, which I imported from the USA and UK hand crafted, specialty items.

When reading reviews, negative comments are often read more as we want to know of any potential issues. The only issue I had related to how skate plates should be attached to skate boots my view is to follow the manufacturer specifications.

Initially the Bayside Blades technician, attached the skate plates in a manner that I did not consider sufficient enough subsequently, through discussing my concerns at length with Bayside Blades, my skate plates were reattached all parts used from the box and the previous holes filled a very professional outcome. I am unsure what Bayside Blades policy is on mounting plates, but they certainly know how to do such professionally.

Their prices are competitive with price matching Bladeworx. I really want to see their store, but I have everything I need from Bayside Blades, so no real reason. I sincerely wish them well though the more Roller Derby stores the better !!! :)

Product knowledge and customer service are essential for positive outcomes for womyn looking to do any form of roller skating, I absolutely recommend the femyl staff members at Bayside Blades to assist.

Their website user friendly, design. experience 4/10 (yeah it sucks in my view though they obviously like it :P but they aren't customers researching gear and comparing items !!!) They need a completely new website, drop the flashiness and get practical about what it is they sell, well laid out, in categories, and easy to compare products.

I have and will continue to recommend Bayside Blades to other womyn, and I will shop with them again in the future.

If you have read my entire review thank you enjoy your Roller Derby, skating, and ALWAYS put safety first !!! :D
