Unfortunately I booked with these guys to send my stuff from NSW to SA, two weeks in advance, and they said if there's any problem with that date they'd let me know. No notification and when I called to make payment the next week they said the date isn't available & that I'd have to take an alternative option - difficult to do given two location pick ups, one had to be home & the other was storage so an extra week of storage fees. They didn't offer to better the rate or find a way to rectify & squeeze me in; they said they'll try do the latter but then no contact back.
Called the next day and they said the next week is actually not available either - either it never was or they hadn't checked properly.

They were interchanging girls at reception so easy to talk to but didn't follow up properly and said different things than each other/inconsistent. They overall tried to nudge me for an earlier date that I couldn't do, in the end I just cancelled, and went elsewhere.

Disappointing as I gave them plenty of opportunities to try rectify. I would recommend avoiding the hassle and going elsewhere to anyone who has or can find other options :/

Backloading Removals helped me out with my interstate move from Perth to Melbourne. The revivalists called me the day before to confirm collection and called me again on the day. Goods arrived in Melbourne in 13 days (even during the pandemic).
I had constant communication from Ali throughout the process and everything arrived perfectly in Melbourne.

very rude and refusal to give back our $200 deposit.!

Had a moved booked in with this company, we paid our $200 deposit and when plans changed due family illness we had to cancel the removal, we gave weeks notice.. they couldn't care less.. The man on the phone was rude to my partner and couldn't be bother to hear what he had to say.
simple said it not his problem and we shouldn't have booked there service in advance refusing to give back our $200 deposit.

Would not use these guys. Got quoted for a backloading removal from Melbourne to Cairns, booked it and confirmed the date. Made sure it was legit as it was such short notice then was told they would call the day before to confirm a time.
Waited to 3pm the day prior until I called myself. Spoke to a lady who was extremely rude and said there was nothing booked for that day, even though they gladly took my 20% deposit. Was told she would chase it up and call back to confirm but she also told me to look elsewhere. No problems on the day before we had to move.
Called just before closing time and said they were still looking (not really interested in helping me out).

Ended up organising a removal with Mooval who were very professional and would highly recommend. They sorted me out in less than 10 minutes.

Ended up chasing my deposit for over 2 weeks and eventually got it back. These guys have been reported to ACCC and Fair Work for their business practices, especially when they're address listed on google is a business office in Brisbane CBD. They're actually located in the Gold Coast and are under the same parent company as Moving Again. If you do your research you'll find the owner of these 2 companies has their address in Southport available on public domain.

Do yourself a favour and stay clear.

I recently purchased a lounge from Sydney and had Backloading Removals bring it up to me to Brisbane. They gave me a price back almost instantly, then had it picked up and delivered within just a few days of me even contacting them! Couldn’t be happier, lounge arrived in perfect condition. A great option for if you’re buying something interstate!
