Do not recommend. Took my corolla here to get the aircon regassed. When I picked up the car, not only did the aircon not work, the valve caps were left off the gas intake and the oil had been overfilled.
On taking it back I was told the compressor was broken. They were unable to explain to me how the compressor could be working in their workshop but not be working by the time I start the car and turn on the aircon. After being accused of lying about my car and a call to head office, I had the owner call me to tell me it must be a coincidence that the compressor was working in their workshop but not afterwards.
After taking to a Toyota service department I was told it is not possible for a compressor to behave in this way, but as the automasters franchisee told me, I do not have proof that they caused the problem so they will not do anything. Instead they quoted me a price to have them order in and replace the compressor (a price substantially higher than I got direct through Toyota).

I will never go back to an Automasters. Their "mechanics" all seemed to be young apprentices. I wouldn't advise anyone to roll the dice here.

I will be contacting Australian Refrigeration Council to suggest they check the ARC license of the individual who worked on my vehicle.

STAY away - DOUBLE the price I needed to have paid - RIP OFF. Was in a corner with steaming broken radiator and these guys TOTALLY took advantage - charged $800 - local would have charged $400. Really so over the cliched oily mechanic being a rip off merchant.

I highly recommend these guys. I have found them to be super helpful, professional and friendly. They have gone out of their way to help me a few times including dropping me off to work, picking me up when my car needed to be serviced or loaned me a car. They provided me with all options, worst case scenario and best case scenario when my car needed fixing.
There are not too many service agents I have trusted in the past, however I have used Automasters South Fremantle for some time now and they have been nothing but helpful and professional.

I brought my car at this garage for a check on a leak from the engine. After a control that cost me 120$, the technician told me that the problem was a major leak coming from the power steering system (the pump is leaking, the rack and a switcher as well). Total to fix that : 1700$
Finding it a bit expensive, I asked an other technician from another garage to have a look at my car as well a few days after. First thing, the coolant system is empty due to a major leak from one of the hoses. This is the major leak ! After a few days, the power steering pump almost didn't leak, and there was few drops from the rack but it is nothing compare to the puddle from the coolant liquid.
So conclusion, the automaster technician didn't see that the coolant liquid was empty during the control of my car not very professional at all. Second point the power steering leak is not a major one at all
Due to the coolant liquid leak, my alternator (that just under the coolant hose) died as well yesterday (something that may have been avoided if the automaster technician had a real look at my car)
So I'm not happy at all about the service of this garage and I will not recommend it to anyone. I lost my money and my time, plus they were wrong about the problem of my car yes the power steering is leaking (few drops) but the car lost a lot more coolant liquid (a small puddle)and due to that I have more things to fix in my car Thank you Automaster ! You'll definitely never see me again !

Nice, professional service. Listened to what we thought was the issue. Found the issue quickly, had the part soon after and we were done and away all in the same day. Only charged us for the part, not labour given the small job but much appreciated ! Thank you ! If I lived here you'd have my custom again.
