Initial conversations went well and the quote seemed reasonable, but suddenly I was told the final cost would be triple the initial estimate. When questioning this change, the response was vague. I went to 2 other accountants who explained the work was simple and they gave quotes within expectation. After using another consultant the final cost was half the price of ATE and the service better.

Ben is a top-notch tax expert, and I am not saying it because he is well-knowledgeable on foreign income. His customer service and professionalism was excellent especially when the deadline for submitting my income tax returns was near. He replied to all my queries whether it be minor or major, with patience and asked the right questions which were necessary for the paperwork. Also impressed with the way he organised the contract, and forms. He managed to get everything done in one week, which was amazing if you think about it - he exceeded my expectations. He also followed up over email, about the status of the income tax returns. In short, I highly recommend him if you ever get stuck/lost while trying to lodge income tax return especially if your income comes from another country than Australia and the deadline looms near. Thumbs up to Ben!
