We're talking what 50k 60k for a piece of paper? It's very unmatched to uni. The lecturers are unprofessional, they know how to scold and degrade you. Egotism is where you'll find it here. When it comes to preparations.. it's very much like primary school unorganised, unestablished, no pre-lecture instructions. You literally enter the room, and they don't even know what they're doing themselves, they're stressed, overwhelmed & psyched out. You waste every second, waiting for them to get themselves straight.
Great to see the new campus. Kyle took me on a guided toursuch a helpful member of the staff.
Do not recommend
The Australian Institute of Music is the worst. Their website is very deceiving and it is nothing like that in real life. They make great marketing videos but it is nothing like that in real life.
A beautiful venue that has easy access to Central Station and the new light rail.
The best music education in Australia
can we study music production in this institute ?
I've only heard good things from this school and it really deserves it. The teaching staff are amazing and kind.
AIM is such a wonderful and vibrant place for learning. With top tier facilities and fantastic teachers, it is the ideal place for anyone with a passion for music who wants to grow and progress and gain a foot in the music industries door.
Attended their Sydney showcase last week, great performances all around (particularly their classical & musical theatre students!), excellent facilities and campus!
Having studied at numerous institutions I can say this institution teaches you some raw things that one must know. How to promote yourself and manage time as well as your public profile. Highly recommend to those who are willing to be versatile musicians and not too stuck in their ways. it's how the field works.
