After seeing all comments here, I was a bit hesitant to pick up my parcel and although I didn't have a choice, I walked in with an open mind. I greeted the staff with a smile but she said nothing. It took a while for her to find my package asking me what size it was, and saying that she just can't seem to find it but gave it another try. She eventually found it though but I would suggest employing a better system for them to locate items better. And FFS, smile and greet your customers back!
Absolutely pathetic
The last 6 times THAT IS 6 TIMES - we have been to this post office - the staff have been rude. Typically I or my husband go in with the card that has been left in hand, ID in hand and they wont give us our goods because it is for a company - ARRR we have the card, its our company and you have our drivers licence. Every other post office is happy with our ID. Then the large lady with the dark hair wont take the time to look at or discuss anything else. So when it came to buying lotto tickets, cards, and bit - we vote with our money and go up to the girls at Belmont. Not to mention we buy a heap of stuff in that store.
Customer service is appalling. All staff attitudes. Went to collect my wife parcel, I approached with good morning and hello got "what are you after" ok. I showed my parcel slip with full id no prob then once she struggled to locate it shifted the blame my I'd was not enough. I told the hag it's in a shoes size box with aminoZ written on it. She found then told me to produce more it next time and that it'll make it easier to find.
Prematurely returned my parcel to sender prior to the 10 business days as per AusPost commitment on their terms of service (refer website). Staff handled issue with utmost unprofessionalism and constantly gave conflicting information. Case referred to Ombudsman.
