One of the worst service I have ever had in my entire life, customer service representatives are so dull and discourteous.

I don't know why this Post Office has such a bad rating. I was lodging a passport renewal for myself and my son. I had to deal with a few of the staff and they were all helpful, efficient and friendly. They even made sure that my express post made it out in tonight's post even though I was there on closing.

Passport renewal went smoothly. Great service. Use them a lot for currency exchange. Awesome group.

I used Balaclava post office to finish my passport application. The service I received was abominable. Firstly they had no record of my scheduled time slot, even though I had evidence of it. A handful of other people in the post office at the same time also had the same problem.
Secondly, when I got a re-scheduled time I got barked at by an employee for standing in the 'wrong spot' even though moments earlier I had been asked to stand there by another employee.
Thirdly the employee who took my interview decided that she would personally degrade the way I look in my passport photo, saying that I look like I have a disease and telling me the photo probably wouldn't be accepted by the passport office.
If all of the doesn't turn you off using Balaclava Post Office for your passport application, then good luck to you.

Why is it that Auspost head office does nothing about these negative reviews. Wrong info or not enough/sufficient info is given to customers. Try to at least show a bit of empathy. Better off going to the Windsor post office.

As part of my passport application I had my photo taken here. They then accepted my application after I went through every piece of material with them to confirm that it was correct. Five weeks later I called them up to ask why I had not received my passport yet. It turns out that my photo had been taken incorrectly. They had made no contact and my application had been sitting in limbo. As a result I was almost unable to go overseas. I do no recommend this Australia Post.
