Austral Tree Services cut down a tree on a property across the road on from me. My brand new car which had been washed a day before was parked across the road under a carport and behind closed gates. The car was covered in sticky gum tree saw dust. My driveway was also covered in the same dust.

The street and footpath were also left in a disgusting state, no attempts by the crew to clean up after themselves. No filters or covers of any type to make sure that the dust and debris goes into the truck rather than being blown away.

I asked nicely if Austral Tree Services would reimburse me the cost that I had just spent on the car wash. I was told "too bad" not our problem by the operations manager. When I asked if it was safe to be working at height on such a stormy day.. no response.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well here are a few to show the mess that this company leaves behind.

The wind blew the dust into other neighboring properties, I wonder if they too were told "too bad" I'd say they were.

If you don't want your property covered in mess, I'd steer clear of this company, customer service is also not one of their strong points. Only rating one star because you cant rate a zero.

Would not recommend. My car was scratched from careless debris removal. Tried to get in touch with the complaints department but they were so slow in getting back to me I ended up fixing it myself. Sunette was not helpful at all.
