When a staff member's eyes glaze over when you say you need to do more research, that tells you all you need to know. Other than that, it's OK.
UPDATE: Ordered items for collection at the Rockingham store. Website states allow 2 business days. Items took a week with no reasonable explanation other than their stock transfer system can't facilitate stock transfers in 2 days.
I'll only use this store if absolutely necessary now!response / report this review -

First.using my daughters phone so Google is logged into her account.
Now that's out the way.
I came into the store in Rockingham about three weeks ago and asked for a quote for a $3000 pc build. ( was receiving a pay out )
Was very happy with the parts list as I was asked what I wanted and what I was intending to achieve.
A week later I returned and said I was in the process of a loan and wanted to upgrade the build to $6000 .
The first thing is the staff did not try to over sell me anything.
I wanted a GTX 1080 to water cooled I was asked why water cooling.
Turns out for what I want it for there is no need to spend the extra money.
Asked about an upgrade to the mother board more $$$ for them.. they again asked what I wanted to achieve and talked me out of it.
At no time did I feel I was being fleeced for $$$ . The opposite in fact.
Yesterday I was declined on my loan .. and having already paid in excess of $3300 I enquired if I could bring the payment up to $4000 this Wednesday to get the PC and pay old the screen etc over the next 16 weeks.

Based on my many bad experiences with Austin in cannington many years ago (around about 15 years ago) i was somewhat weary of going here but happy to say i was wrong!
Was great service from the person i dealt with (storm i believe was his name) who was more than happy to help with buying parts for a new pc. Best part was that he asked the right questions on what it would be used for and then challenged what components were required in an attempt to save on overall cost

This place is great and the staff is even better. I came in to purchase a desktop. Without trying to upsell me, the staff was amazing at giving me what I wanted and answering my questions. These guys know their stuff.

Bought a laptop from Austin Computers, was going well using it then it when down the drain. The Microsoft software upgraded its operating system from 7 to 10 and it was the worst thing, went from smooth to impossible to use. I couldn't find a solution to fix it, I tried everything. Took it back to Austin Computers, they saw what was going on and reverted the laptop back to the settings when I first got the laptop, they also change the settings where it wouldn't upgrade again. Thats all I wanted, and thats what I got. Thanks mate for all your help.

They don't care about customer at all. This shop refuse to replace my washing machine!!!! Here's my advice, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP, there are other decent shops to go, more reliable, more professional!
