Aroona Creates the Perfect Family Holiday
My Wife, two adult children and their partners have just returned from an unforgettable week aboard the MV Aroona based in Cairns North Queensland.
From the moment we stepped aboard this stunning 70 ft motor yacht the crew of Isaac our Captain, Tilley our first officer, Eva our customer service manager and Dave our genius chef made us feel totally at home and pampered.
This mini ship will accommodate more people but is perfect for three couples with three spacious and beautifully appointed cabins all with generous ensuite bathrooms – just like a five-star hotel at sea.
Backing up these facilities are a comfortable lounge dining area inside, a back deck dining area and for us the ultimate was the large covered open air dining area on the bridge taking full advantage of the amazing 360-degree scenery.
Speaking of dining, Dave created restaurant quality meals of the highest standard every night and a wide variety of equally temping hot and cold Breakfast and Lunch options. No one will be left hungry on Aroona.
Exploring the amazing reefs and Coral Quays of the Northern Great Barrier Reef was unforgettable under the expert and supportive guidance of this fantastic crew. They safely instructed novices and more advanced members of our party in snorkelling, spear fishing and reef fishing. Having Dave prepare a range of freshly caught reef fish was a highlight.
The passion and dedication of the crew is evident in every detail of the vessel’s appearance and in their commitment to outstanding personalised service.
We couldn’t be happier with our total experience on board which went far to quickly and we will definitely be back for another Aroona adventure on our beautiful Great Barrier Reef.

We were fortunate to be able to spend a week on the Aroona in December '20 with our family on the outer Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland. The Aroona is a fantastic boat for such a trip but the crew is what made the experience even more memorable. Their level of professionalism and knowledge made the trip. We felt safe at all times no matter what the activity. I would definitely recommend the Aroona for exploring the wonder of the Great Barrier Reef.

This is the best charter I have ever been on. The boat is spacious and luxurious. The crew could not be friendlier and more accomodating. Food was great and the fishing - diving spectacular. Well done guys. A very professional outfit! I wish I could give it six stars.
