A very nice and cozy place. Friendly people, very helpful, clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Free Wifi, of course.

My husband and I had already booked our room in advance as part of our travel itinerary.
The day prior to our arrival I had fallen over and broken the top of my humerus bone in my arm but when we pulled up, we were greeted so warmly and Carolyn and Andrew showed kind concern over my plight. My husband was treated to the best cup of tea he had drunk in over a week. We were made to feel very 'at home'. Robe is a very picturesque place and after a comfortable night's sleep, a lovely breakfast and good company with the other guests we set off on our way, having discovered that Andrew had most kindly cleaned the windows on our hire car.
Such lovely people who seem to go that extra mile to make their guests feel welcome.

This place felt like home immediately. This was the first accommodation (and as it turns out, the most expensive) we saw, but clearly far better than the 4 others we then looked at. Given that we arrived a few days after school holidays ended, we thought (correctly) that booking ahead would not be necessary. The lounge / breakfast area had good views toward the sea and there was fresh brewed coffee and home-made biscuits available anytime. Beds were very comfortable, though our room had thinnish walls and we could hear others moving about next door.
Hosts Carolyn and Andrew introduced us to other guests we met in the afternoon, and at breakfast next morning. They told us about the attractions in the area (not many, as it turned out), and the best places to eat ("Sails" was clearly the most popular, and catered well for vegetarians). Not to be missed -- Mahalia's coffee, on the edge of town, and their coffee making-and-drinking accessories.
