Simple toilet installation (plumber was there for 1.5 hour max) that cost over $700! It was our fault for not getting comparisons. They charged $50 to quote anyway so thought we're half committed. Plumber left a mess and didn't clean up afterwards.
Didn't realise how much a rip off that was until a few days later we got a few quotes from hipages to install another toilet for $200 - $250.
Beware people. It pays to do your homework!!response / report this review -

Brad arrived within the hour as promised and sent a text just prior to arriving. Shower and spa both leaking and 4 new taps installed without any damage to tiles and withour fuss. Very neat job and Brad was friendly and honest with the quote and the work done. Would happily use Brad and ABA again without hesitation!

Brad arrived (on time and with advance notice via a text) within a few hours of me making my call and requesting a plumber for the following purposes: tap/faucet replacement in the bathroom, toilet repair and capping of a gas pipe to allow for the removal of a defunct gas space heater. His quote was reasonable and he began work immediately. I found him to be be very amiable and capable, with excellent communication skills. He was also tidy and polite. I would happily have him do further work at our house and, based on the service he provided, am happy to recommend ABA Plumbing! A+

Excellent same day service. The crew who attended were very professional and friendly, and they did a great job. Also, the lady who took our initial phone call was very efficient and friendly. Very impressed.

Joe and Louis came out and repaired my kitchen mixer tap.
The guys were really friendly and approachable. Its a big thing having strangers come into your home, but they made the process such a good experience.

Beyond impressed with ABA from start to finish. Was able to make a same day appointment to have my drains unblocked. Very clear from the beginning regarding cost and plan. Both Dan and Brad were very prompt, efficient and professional. Could not recommend ABA more highly!!

Made an appointment but didn't show up.
I've made an appointment on last Friday to have one of their plumbers to come in to have a look at my kitchen tap today (Monday) at 8am. Unfortunately, no one has showed up/called me at 8am. I phoned them and they said they were very sorry that my appointment wasn't on today's schedule and asked whether If they could put me on tomorrow's schedule. Since they're offering "on the same day service" on their website, so I thought I could at least get them to come in in the afternoon. They put me on hold again then telling me that they're fully booked for this week. So? Not Monday, not tomorrow and not this week? Seriously?!response / report this review -

Have used ABA many times in recent years for very important reasonsThey're highly professional, timely and efficient. I value these things over simply price alone. Well done Joe and Bradexcellent service.
