We received a 258 Euro charge from this hotel for "ironing" AFTER checking out on our credit card. They washed 2 tshirts, and never mentioned the charge either before or after doing laundy. Just a surprise charge that was NOT on our bill. Our calls to the hotel went unanswered. Do not stay here.

Excellent location on the main shopping street in old Town, with funky, design-y room decor. We had a Large room with a nice bathroom (tub and separate shower)

Wonderful! This is our 2nd white lines hotel and we love it. The layout is perfect, the staff are amazing, helpful and super friendly! It's fantastic location with a short walking distance to the major attractions of the city. The breakfast is superb!

Everything is just at walking distance. Next to Louis Vuitton. Good for their fans

Very interesting and unique hotel in a great part of old Salzburg with friendly front desk staff. The only problems were with the bed (it was made up of two mattress side by side and each mattress had its own small comforter) and the shower (the movable shower head kept sliding down to the lowest possible heighr so you basically had to use it as a hand held shower head). Would probably stay again because of the location being so walkable to everything, the reasonable price, and the friendliness of the front desk staff.

Be aware that the restaurant charges a 3 euro cover charge per person for lunch. You are supposed to receive bread for this charge but we did not get any. This is the only restaurant we encountered with a cover charge for lunch time. I did not realize this until after I studied the receipt back at my hotel, since it was in German. Needless to say I felt swindled.

While the staff is very helpful and the location is truly excellent, the rooms are on the small side and have some of the least comfortable beds I've slept on in Europe. Bathrooms very small. Breakfast adequate--on par with most European hotels. Trendy decor and a great location seem to have people fawning.
