This was honestly one of the best experiences I could have had in Salzburg- the music was excellent, and the atmosphere divine. Some of the food was good and some was average. But still, for the price, this place is quite the bargain. Alex was my server, and he was perfect- from recommending the best wine to getting me a cab afterwards!

My wife booked us in for my birthday dinner.. we had a great time, the food here is top notch and the service was equal to it. Would definitely return if in Salzburg again

We four ladies visited last night for the Mozart Dinner as part of a birthday celebration trip to Salzburg and we found the evening a delightful experience. Beautiful surroundings, lovely food and delightful entertainment from the singers and musicians. The experience was made extra special by our charming waiter Alex who was so attentive and really looked after us. We look forward to returning in the future.

Mozart Dinner. This is a not to be missed dinner for music lovers in Salzburg. The dinner is made using recipes that were in use during Mozart's time held in a beautiful rococo style banquet room. In between courses you are treated to selections from Mozart's operas played by the most accomplished musicians you could wish to see. Operas pieces are sung by a two very talented singers acting out their parts. We heard selections from 4 different operas. The expertise of the musicians was obvious. We brought 13 student musicians, mostly violinists, and they were entranced by the musical performance. Dinner courses consisted of bread, soup, main dish, and dessert. We were served a broth soup with a cheesy crouton ball in it, main course was herb stuffed capon which was unbelievably tender, potato gratin and vegetables from the priory garden. Dessert was a honey flavored pudding with 2 sauces, one similar to marmalade and another with red berries. Extremely enjoyable evening.

St Peter's claim to be the oldest restaurant in Europe. Great cuisine and service. If in Salzburg recommend you try it out. All their dishes we had were excellent. The place was recommended by a local taxi diver named Ilker

We came here after hearing about it from a friend despite reading mixed reviews. We ordered the 3 course and 5 course fixed menus for dinner. I never would've ordered risotto (I never liked it before) and would not have ordered chicken either. However we both felt we tasted the best risotto ever and the best chicken ever. Chicken was moist, flavorful and complex with a nice crispy skin. Service was excellent and our waiter gave us the recipe for the chicken. Our 11 and 13 year old sons loved the lamb as well. Of course the ambience was great too. Overall it was a very memorable meal that we will all remember.

This restaurant was recommended to us during our visit to Salzburg and we ALL loved it! It was our night out to splurge and it was worth every €.

Nice setting, but the dishes are variable in quality. While the more 'traditional' (read meat and gravy) dishes were done to a decent quality, one of our party had salmon pasta - the salmon overcooked, the broccoli overcooked and the pasta was a mess. So it was disappointing that there was no consistency with the dishes for our small table.

If you aren't Caucasian, give this restaurant a miss. You just won't get the high level of service they promise if you aren't white. We went there are were barely entertained by the staff, extremely rude and food was mediocre for the price. At one point when I asked to see the wine list, waiter responded with "why?" and seemed unhappy to get it for me. Much better value (and service) can be found in most other places around Salzburg. Very disappointing experience.
