Great location. Friendly staff, amazing flair, you can feel how old the building is your dining in. Prices are very ok for a town like Salzburg.

No reservation so can't have table by the windows. Still can see the church. Great service and food to start our first meal in our Europe trip.

    走上餐廳有點距離,往纜車站的方向走還要再向前走。

Right next to the castle. This is a worthy stop for anyone doing the quick tourist thing and is without enough time to make it all the way to the actual brewery. Great, big building with a massive beer garden sporting spectacular views of the town.

Nice view, food is very good as well. Large selection of beers and prices are reasonable 10-15€ for a main dish. As an Austrian I can recommend to go here good value for money.

Excellent place for a good beer. Good prices for average beers. Did not try the food. The service was fast but grabbing the waiter's attention takes a while (as is the case in almost all of this country)

Steeply up the hill behind St Peters Church. A large bar with restaurants, several rooms, and several outside terraces overlooking the Cathedral. Service was a little offhand, prices tourist standard. Worth the climb for the nice view of Salzburg.

We had read some mediocre reviews of the food here. We all loved our meals (13 of us in all), had great service, and enjoyed the view. The restaurant is large and whether you are indoors or outdoors, you feel like you have a space all to yourself. There is also a beautiful ballroom if you're looking for an event space.

The Kaiserschmarrn and the view were good. Then I wanted a beer and tried to order to three different waiters over a 35 minutes period. Sitting there doing nothing. Finally I asked for the bill instead. Didn't get it on the next 10 minutes so I left the money on the table and left.

Great place for a nice dinner with a view outside. We had several dishes from the menu and all was good. Friendly staff included.
Try the Gulasch - one of the best I had

Classic fried pork and cream soup with wild garlic. Always too salty but it's Austrian style. Especially for "Saltyburg".

This place has one of the best views over Salzburg. The food is great and the service is perfect.
If you visit Salzburg, do yourself a favour, and visit Restaurant Stieglkeller.

The food is OK, but not great. One of our dishes was too salty and the other too sweet. The dishes selection is extremely small. The service was good until we pointed out that something was missing. Can happen. But the reaction of the waiter was arrogant. He forgot something? No that was impossible! We forgot to order it.

Great little spot to see the city and have dinner and a drink. The view is spectacular. We chose to sit on the first tier of the outdoor garden. It was hard to find a table though as all of the nicer tables were "reserved" but as long as we were there they never seated anyone there. Food was OK not the best I have had for the price. The real problem was our server. He was a complete jerk right from the start. His attitude and rudeness toward us and the other guests ruined the whole experience. We payed for our food and drink and moved up to the self service area to enjoy the rest of out evening away from him.
