Great hotel, they make you feel like home! I was there for the 70.3 IRONMAN great location. It is very near to the lake and they also have room to store your sports equipment safely.
This was a terrible experience. Vegetarian dish turned up with meat. Salmon dish was poor. Overpriced. No interest by staff. Just terrible. Zell is full of careless food. This is the worst, because of location they do not care. Do not go here
A traditional hotel with excellent service right in the centre of town. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere made for a lovely stay. Yes it's a little basic but it's clean and comfortable. They took my gluten free requirements very seriously and managed to provide plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. We stayed half board so that we didn't have to hunt for a decent restaurant after a long day's walk. No regrets at all, the food was excellent. Air conditioning in the rooms would be nice but then it would be more expensive to what do you expect? Great base for a summer walking or cycling holiday. Highly recommended.
Very good location with friendly personal, nice bar.
However single room bathroom was extremly small
Super
Good restaurant
As a guest of restaurant can confirm that some of the staff is very rude ( lady with short hair). Asking you many times if you want to order more, even when you haven't finish. You can see the pressure for the money. Food was nice. Think twice before you visit.
Liked this restaurant and outdoor seating very much. "Pinzgauer Kasnockerl" and mushroom ravioli are delicious.
My wife and I just got back from a week skiing holiday at hotel Lebzelter in Zell Am See, Austria.
It was a lovely 500 year old family run hotel. The staff were all very friendly as we saw then every day for breakfast, dinner and in the pub. The front desk was always willing to help.
Breakfast and dinner was a WOW! The food was brilliant. We stayed on a half board, and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food on offer every night. Loads is salads, soup, main course and dessert.
Our room was great. It was on the third floor facing lake Zell, which we could see (just). The room had everything we needed, including a safe. The shower is in the bath, and they had a lovely glass shower panel which made showering a pleasure.
There is a lovely staircase as well a lift, which was great after a long day of skiing.
The hotel location was excellent to everything important. A short 5 min walk (200m) to the City Express ski lift, 10m to the ski hire shop, 5 to 30m to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. 300m in the other direction and the lake beckons.
The hotel is a quick walk (5 minutes) to the bus terminal, but they insisted in taking us in a taxi.
Overall hotel Lebzelter made our holiday fabulous.
