Construction was going on so it was noisy in the morning.. otherwise it is a peaceful place

Arriving after a long day of traveling, we discovered our remote was rattling and using the TV manually was not an option. I waited until morning as there was no one able to help. Next day the receptionist offered us a new room but we had to check out so we did. New room wasn’t any better. Our old room had comfy beds while the news ones were rock hard. My boyfriend even shifted at one point and a wooden panel holding the bed broke off. The view is nice but the rooms are a gamble.
Side note, breakfast is an extra €7.50 for COLD breakfast.

Not recommend. The hotel already charged our full stay before arriving, instead of just the reservation fee (we planned to use a different card to pay for our stay after arriving). Once arriving in the room, the door would not close without shutting it forcefully, and the TV did not work. When going back to the front desk to alert them, they had already gone home with no numbers to call for help. Beds are comfy, but the walls are paper thin. Would not recommend this hotel.

Cozy little hotel by the lake. Situated next to the ferry and bus stop makes it very convenient to Hallstadt. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room has a view of the pool and the mountain with a bit of the lake. Very peaceful.

The hotel is quite old and run down, it looks nothing like the photos you see on the hotel booking websites and online. Saying that the rooms are ok and more importantly clean. Location wise the hotel is very near the train station and ferry terminal and shops, about 5 mins. The breakfast they offer is terrible and a total rip off and is nothing more than a minimal packed lunch, you can get something much better outside for the same money. We'd come back to Hallstatt, but not this hotel, there are much better places for the 110 EUR we paid for one night just adjacent.

The hotel is currently under renovations, but the rooms are nice (ours was recently renovated). Small and quaint with a friendly staff that speaks English well.

Excellent service from the front desk staff member. She was very helpful. The hotel's décor and breakfast are quite basic but it is very clean and has stunning views.
