Although this is a nice restaurant, looking even fancy, the food was just ok and service was horrible. When waiters talked to you it was fine, the thing is that majority of time they didn't talk to you at all, they completely blanked us, they didn't check our table after we finished eating for some 15 minutes, so we were looking at our empty dirty plates and glasses, and they didn't mind to take it away or ask if we want anything more. Although they bypassed us number of times they didn't care to even look at us or the table. When we finally called (!) for waiter to resolve it and asked for the bill, we waited another 15 minutes to pay.

Food was good, but service is incredibly slow. Once they brought food to us, they were ignoring us completely. Empty plates were on the table for at least 40mins.

STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT YOUR LUNCH AT LUNCH AT LUNCH TIME AND NOT DINNER TIME. We are trying to get someone to even acknowlege us let alone some kind of service while i am writing this. Restaurant is heavily understaffed or service is really slow even when it is like 30% occupied already 2 tables left without ordering. Oh ya and the steak arrived well done instead of medium as ordered.

Their wiener schnitzel seems to be straight out of a cheap supermarkets freezer. had to drown it in ketchup to make it somewhat bearable. I'm fairly certain that this place lives off of one time tourist visitors. 2 instead of 1 stars because the ketchup was good.

Now the first thing I want to say is that I don't give out one star reviews lightly. It is with a heavy heart I must do this - our steak was nice, the salad - fresh.
But it was the surliness of your waiters, the utter contempt of your own representatives, that left a sour taste in the soul of both my partner and I. We rode the bus back, sad, wet, alone in an uncaring Salzburg, dejected.

To Maredo we went
Our stomachs were spent
With meat we would fill

When your waiter spat on my heart,

we walked in before
in yourself it did not cause a stir
Then your waiter literally told us that we couldn't eat there. We didn't know what to do. So we said: "non est factum," and my girlfriend (I'm bi) pled the fifth.

Steaks and vegetables were really good! The service is perfect. I would also like to thanks the waiters again. I forgot my camera bag, and they put it aside right away. And when i came back for it they directly knew who i was. Danke sehr!!

Ordered a T-bone, medium rare. The filet side was medium, the sirloin side was medium well. I did not eat/ sent back over half of a 46 Euro steak. No new steak, no deduction on bill. I did get a 5 Euro dessert complimentarily. Wooo.

The service was quick and the food was slightly overpriced but nice anyway. This restaurant is good for groups as we were able to fit 9 around a table. However the rest rooms were a bit inconvenient as a key card was required to access the toilets

Excelent place to enjoy a slow lunch. The lunch menu is very worthy, you get and entree and the main dish for about 8 euros. Awesome food! The staff is very nice too.

The ribeye and garlic bread are awesome. Great meal. Great salad buffet. Service is quick and quality impeccable.
