Just too touristy and I guess because of that the staff can be really rude. There are definitely more enjoyable patisseries in Austria with just as good or even better cakes.

Wonderful café with a history. Although jam packed with tourists the locals also seems to be enjoying the lovely pastries and sandwiches offered. Prices are steep but I guess you pay for the experience, which is great.

Delicate artistic delicious sandwiches. Lots of yummy desserts too. Pack a box to go and take it with you to a boat ride on the Wolfgangsee.

Order the Turkish coffee, it's the best I've ever had. Service and atmosphere is great. Don't forget to order dessert.

Drop by here from Salzburg to Hallstatt, it is said that Sissy used to enjoy her dessert here! Tourists/local natives 70/30, Love the Napoleon cake so much!
