Trust me guys, I know my food. Came here on the recommendation of our hotel. Really nice space but please don’t waste your time. The staff is extremely rude and the food is straight up poop. Finger food? This is not innovative people! You can’t have crappy food and terrible service pick one. We went to this cute little place across the street called the Afro cafe. The food is delicious and he staff was great. SKIP THIS PLACE

I had the full menu. The cones are like ice cream cones but without any sugar, i.e. the filling can be savoury. To eat a true cone filled with tuna was a unique experience, and the dishes were very good. But cigarette smoke comes up to the non-smoking section, some of the dishes on the menu are very small and it is expensive. Hence, four stars.

Loved the modern twist on old favorites. The small plates were perfect for sharing. Great service.

We went to the restaurant on the first floor and waited q0 minutes to be seated but we were completely ignored. Staff were passing us by and others looking at us and then looking away as if pretending they had not seen us. We felt invisible and decided to walk away and go somewhere where we would be treated with respect.

The worst experience ever. My daughter is a fussy eater and has to take her food anywhere we go. The staff were very rude and disrespectful. Their rediculus behaivor was supported by the owner who was walking around the resturant like he was in the army. The staff did not even know the difference between tap and normal water. Never ever go back there and will never recommond this place to my friends who come to Eroupe regularly for conferences.

First night in Salzburg and decided to try this place because of the reviews. The food was good but the atmosphere totally ruined the experience. We tried to sit away from the smokers and ended up near the entry. Friends of the owners (regular patrons) stood near our table with their dogs. It went downhill from there. The dogs were allow under our feet (licking my shoes looking for food scraps). The dogs' owners were bumping into my chair even though I had already moved my chair an addition foot out of the way to give space. The one lady of the group was so drunk she didn't realize she was swinging her ponytail hair into my mouth as I was trying to eat. Either that or she didn't care. We asked to move to a different table to finish our drinks and commented to the waitress about the rude patrons and she said that these people are regulars, know the owner and are that way when they are drunk. Hope these regulars can keep you in business because you won't get anyone else if you allow this kind of behavior.

Walked away disappointed. I would say one of the most mediocre one star meals I had anywhere in the the world(price quality, preparation, ambiance and service). The service was ok(would have been excellent if you took the dishes away without asking) and atmosphere only few tables are occupied. They did offer me a window seat when it became available. Wine recommendation was ok for me..

Food - I had the full set menu 3+ dishes were over salted one or two were great.. few failed to impress (taste profile) Even after being explicit the subsequent dishes were still rather over salted. (E.g Venison main - reduction was so salty, blanched cabbage was salty, the venison has too much salt on it
Wish chef came out to talk.. or person attending my table took the dish away even if I was too courteous not to send it back aft explicitly mentioning aft a bite. I really regret not having returned the dishes

A day later, I'm Sitting at Konstantin Filippou in Vienna WoW ! what a difference while having a memorable dinner (every dish was balanced and out of the wold) was trying to remember yesterday's dinner ( had to flip through my pics may be I'm loosing my short term memory with my age ;)

It may be your off day.. over Salting is something you can fix, it's a new menu and possibly getting things ironed out. (Ingredients taste profile ) but how you approach and fix things that sets you apart :)
    I would not go back

Overrated. Strictly average food. Portion sizes are very small. Service is good.

Great breakfast and really good service but smoking is allowed. So a chic place with smoke?! A pity :-(

Whenever I'm in Salzburg, this restaurant is my first stop. They have the best chocolate fondue and very delicious (non-alcoholic) cocktails! The finger food is also very good and creatively served

The first impression this restaurant gave us, was very basic, old and far from Michelin star level, specifically main entrance passing trough poorly ventilated smoking bar.
Having butter foam on each dish doesn't make the food innovative and worthy. Food was not clean on the palette and there was too much different flavours mixed and none of them stands out.
Staff was not polite, at some moments rude with very poor English language
Over all It might be a good dining place for some, but definitely not worth the Michelin star or the fine adjective.

Delicious and well presented food combined with first class service. We came here for a special birthday dinner and we were not disappointed, it really was a delightful experience.
