Stayed in a single room for 6 nights during the summer. The building is a little beat up, but the room was cozy enough. Wifi worked great and had nice views. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast though. Better off going to the aldi or a cafe. This place does need a lot of work, but for the price it was superb!

Look, Innsbruck's the place where a single bus journey costs the very best part of three euros. At twenty euros a night, this place is in fact a steal. The staff are professional, mostly middle-aged and actually do their job (contrast many a youth hostel's instagraming tindr-ing hipster crew whose response to having to do something is the adoption of a long-suffering pout). Breakfast is nothing to write home about (do people still 'write home'? What'sapp and emails means you always can, but in practice never do), but it's free, I tell you, ''all you can eat' free! The rooms are clean, if not spotless; the six man rooms are a little cramped, but I've never known more than four people (often a lot less) to be actually in them; the ski-season may bring additional sweaty pressure of numbers. The building is a delight of optimistic seventies brutalism. The showers are clean (I am unworried by the absence of a lock). Perhaps it is a tad far from the town for tired feet, but there is a bus stop directly outside whence the "O" bus brings (for a fee of two euros ninety) one straight to the beating heart of this smug, conservative anti-intellectual jewel in the Tirolean crown.

Worst hotel ever , dirty rooms no hot water wifi not working . Breakfast from 9-10 where is nothing to eat. Cleaners dont lock room after clean. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Quite good for short stay, it's cheap and in good location, but showers are outside the room, which would be fine if all od them had door you can close. It is also worth to mention that if you take 6 bed room like we did the space is (putting it lightly) very limited and if one person stands between beds, noone will be able to cross. As for breakfast - if you don't like eating anything sweet in the morning and are lactose intolerant like me, you will be left with bread with very weird meat slices. Possibly place is not suitable for vegans (we didn't ask though).

It's nice, clean and silent place. Rooms are rather small for 6 people, but the prices are affordable and breakfast is really good. An old school building, a bit far from everything in town if you're going by foot only, but i'd stay there again.

Comfortable beds. They have a kitchen as well, which is pretty cool.

Lovely to see the old place again. I stayed there in the 1980's for walking trips. It was originally built to house competitors for the 1976 Olympics. Looks like it could do with a bit of money being spent on it as it's now over 40 years old. I'm too old to stay there now - but I hope anyone who does has a great time and meets lots of friendly travellers. I certainly did including the amazing Barb and Kev from the States. What a laugh out loud time we had. Don.

Stayed here with my Frnds during the EuroTrip 2016-17. Decent place for unmarried people. Dorm was good and sharing rest rooms were not pretty decent. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Free breakfast and free bus to the main ski slopes which leaves from the front door at 8:30am. The building is need of an update and is perhaps a little run down. However the staff are friendly and super helpful.

This place is not where you should stay in Innsbruck. It is a good 40 minute walk from the old town although there is a bus outside. The rooms are fine, but the showers don't drain which is frustrating. The free breakfast is not bad. You have to pay to use the kitchen. The WiFi is appallingly poor so try and book your next leg before you get here. Also spotted a mouse which is nice.

It was pretty much your typical big city hostel in looks and amenities. The staff was helpful. There is very limited food options within walking distance.
