My husband and I were there in Sept./Oct. 2013 for two weeks. We are going back to the Schoenegg this April, unfortunately we will only be there or four nights! We can't wait. We love it there! We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again!!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful week skiing in Seefeld, staying at Hotel Schonegg. The staff at the hotel are exceptional, especially Monika and Francine - nothing was too much trouble. When they picked up from our booking in form that it was my birthday, they played 'Happy Birthday' over the sound system and my dessert arrived with a sparkler in it! Our room was very clean and quiet. My only concern was that the room was too warm overnight despite the radiator not being on and the window open. The food was excellent and plentiful. Many of the other guests we spoke to have been coming to the Hotel for years and years. There is loads to do in Seefeld apart from downhill skiing. We also did X-country skiing, visited the fabulous swimming pool twice (free vouchers from hotel during the week) and there are many paths to walk as well as explore the town, We really enjoyed our return to Seefeld after 28 years and would recommend the Schonegg.

My wife and I travel a lot in Europe and further afield, and have spent a lot of time in Seefeld, both in summer and winter. Over many years, we have stayed in a variety of hotels here, from the smallest pension to the 5* hotel, yet we now regularly come back to the Schönegg.
It's not a large hotel, but it is very personal, in a time when everywhere tries to conform to a uniform standard hotel feel. It's family run, and the owners do everything they can to make guests feel at home. The restaurant is excellent with a wide range of menu choices. The garden is quiet with a good range of garden furniture despite being near a railway line that has very few trains!
Rooms are all individual, and a regular programme of renovation has brought in new bathrooms, new curtains, carpets and flat screen TVs. Externally, new windows and decoration and renewed balconies have been added. The aging lift is now replaced with something far more modern!
I'm sure there are many other places we could stay, but after years of looking, we keep coming back, Every time we do, we see regular faces who also see the Schönegg are their second homes!
