Absolutely 5 star food service and luxury and an AMAZING spa in a fantastic resort.
Stayed at the Josl for 4 nights with a friend. This place is magical it is a modern hotel but with cute touches that give it quaint Austrian charm.
It literally is ski in ski out, the boot room its about 20 metres from the end of the slopes.
Fantastic big room that included a coffee maker. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was large and well equipped with a powerful shower although my only comment would be the shower head didn't stay in position very well. Lovely large balcony and nice big wardrobe with lots of shelves.
Food was plentiful and of a very high standard, 5 courses every night plus salad. Extensive wine list very reasonably priced. Breakfast and afternoon tea absolutely superb. Staff very good in the restaurant, friendly and very good service.
The bar was cute warm and welcoming and service always excellent.
The point for me that made this place so superb was the warm friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble, one day we had just missed afternoon tea by 10 minutes and the waiter went and found us some pastries, this is really great service and they all seemed to go the extra mile. The spa is one of THE BEST i have used for a while, and I travel extensively. A large number of different saunas, steam rooms and relaxing areas complete with open air Jacuzzi. A few of the saunas overlook the slopes and there is an outside balcony you can cool down on inbetween using the sanuas. It was absolutely spotlessly clean,and again very friendly staff never ever have I really seen a spa area so clean other than the hotel Avalon in Berlin which is one of the best hotels in the world, the Josl is up there!
The boot room was great but the ski racks very difficult to open as they appeared to not open far enough, great boot warmers and very easy access to the slopes.
The resort is very special its my second visit and its one of my favourite resorts, partly also because of the very fast transfer time from Innsbruck, not a huge ski area but the trade off is that there are NO QUEUES for lifts and the slopes very quiet, the resort is high so the snow quality very good and they look after it very well. A lot of ski in ski out properties, limited apre but definitely enough to keep you going. I will be back soon for my third visit without a doubt.
This hotel is absolutely fantastic and probably the best ski hotel i've stayed in over 10 years I cant rate it highly enough.response / report this review -

Alles Top, Top, Top. Wenn man etwas bemängeln will: in den Ruheräumen im Spa-Bereich ist es sehr, sehr warm und in den Zimmern muss vor der Toilettenspülung zuerst der WC-Deckel geschlossen werden, damit gespült werden kann, da der Deckel über die Revisionsplatte reicht. Sind aber wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten.

Staff were excellent - very attentitivea nd friendly. The addition of the swimming pool and the refurbishment of the Wellness Suite were very welcome. Food plentiful - put weight on despite skiing all day!
