Clean rooms with fantastic view of the lake. Limited menu for the breakfast but nothing to complain. Very clam place to stay. Take the Ferry service that available nearby if you are planning to visit hallstat and it will give you some great memories to take home.

I really loved this hotel. Hotel was clean, and the reception lady was so nice! Breakfast has small menus, but it was good. I highly recommend to come here and enjoy holidays!

Great place to stay while visiting Hallstatt. Warm staff, awesome view by the lake, cozy rooms, especially the double lake room.
However, the single room might be considered too small (restroom) for some visitors.

Great view and comfortable room. There's a common kitchen with a vending machine (with wine and beer) for our enjoyment at the room's balcony. Choice at breakfast is a little limited, but good nonetheless.

Two stars for the view. Hopefully you get the top level lakeview room with a balcony to compensate for dirty towels and a less than barebone breakfast.

Nice view, especially the Seaview room, worth it. location wide is quite close to the Obertraun train station, takes me around 10min walking thru the "snow" with the big luggage. The Hotel staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel is at a great location.
The room was clean , comfortable and with perfect view.
The stuff is amazing and very helpful.
Definitely would recommend to everyone!

The host Charged me 20 euro after I checked out because we use the kitchen without informing me at anywhere or by anyone. We do ask the wife of him twice before using it and the answer is "you can cook in the kitchen and eat in the restaurant". When I called him, he said "It is usual in Europe."

He also keeps saying the our room is a lake view room because we can see a little bit corner of the lake at the balcony. We book a lake view room 3 month earlier but that is what we get.

According to other comments, the host could be a nice guy, but for me he is the meanest person that I have ever met.
