Fantastic hotel, there are three separate buildings, one by the lake, with lake views and 2 other buildings further up the hill. We stayed at the Stockler house and highly recommend that location. Recently renovated interior of a 500+ year old building. Check in as early as possible, the buses arrive around 4pm and the line gets a bit long.

Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Food was okay. Big breakfast buffet with champagne. Cappuccino from a self serve machine was surprisingly delicious!

The experience in this hotel was not pleasent. The staff was not concerned about the guests. We felt like they were hearding people in and out. Reception was chaotic and disorganized. Following the unpleasant check-in was a very long walk to our room (in the rain) in which we had to carry our suitcases the whole way (including up a few flights of stairs). The room itself was not clean (spider webs) and felt very average and boring. The extra bed brought in for my sister was poor quality and hard to sleep on. The room did have a beautiful view of the lake.

The food is good here however I was extremely disappointed with the service. After finishing our meal we waited for over 30 mins to have the table cleared and we wanted to order more drinks and desserts but ended up leaving after being ignored by the staff. We will not be returning

You cant park near hotel, you have to call city shuttle from P1,and they will come to pick you up. which is free for their guest(every 30mins),or you have to pay 12 euro.
Very good location and staff.
There are 2 hotels from them, one is next to lake, another is 3 mins walk, in a 500 years old nice building.So make sure which one you would like to stay at night before you go.response / report this review -

We only stopped at the place for dinner. The menu was limited but provided meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The meat dishes tasted quite okay, but when comparing the price you pay, around €50 for a main course and a glass of wine it is definitely not worth the price.
But the view on the lake was really nice and made us forget about the price.response / report this review -

The hotel room is very nice with modern decoration. Offering shower and bathtub with Loccitane products.
Hotel location is great. It is right there very near to the pier.
The breakfast is good. Staffs might not be so friendly but ok.
The room rate is not cheap but reasonable.
I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.response / report this review -

Only came in for a drink at the restaurant and a potential meal as we were about an hour early for the evening service. We were rudely greeted at the door by a waitress and received an abrupt service, although the gentleman bringing the drinks over was very polite. We did enjoy the lovely view of the lake though, and the desserts looked lovely.

Was a bit surprised that we were not able to check in until 3pm. The service was slightly slow as we had to wait for about 30 mins before the staff showed us to our rooms which was about 5 to 10 mins walk uphill from the reception. There were no lifts in the hotel so we had to further carry our luggage up two storeys.
I was very dissatisfied with the service, not because they were slow but because when we complained about one the the rooms smelling of cigarettes, the staff brushed it off by saying they have a smoke detector which would've gone off if someone had been smoking. When the staff was further questioned about what caused the smell, he simply walked off without saying another word.
The rooms were pretty good other than the tv not working and some parts of the room requires fixing.response / report this review -

Good location in Hallstatt, but the room left something to be desired. Was promised a queen, got 2 twins pushed together. However, it was clean and tidy, so no complaints on that front
