Very nice place. I will come back there.
One of the worst hotels I've been in. Extremely rude person at the front desk. We arrived after 19.00 and tried to take the keys from the automatic machine, but got stuck. When I told the woman at the phone what had happened, she started talking like if I was stupid, instead of helping. Apart from that, the rooms were dirty, WiFi didn't work in the room, and the blinds don't block the light. The room was big, but with the shower inside the same space. Avoid at all costs!
Cosy little joint
Very basic accommodation. Friendly staff. But keep your expectations low.
ok
Very good value for the money. Near the centre, recently redecorated rooms (some), very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. All you need if you travel on a tight budget.
There are several good things about this place but then there are others that are not as cool.
The rooms are super clean - they have a variety of rooms - some of them you have to share bathroom facilities and in others you do not - I can only comment on the room with shower and sink I had - it was extremely clean and so was the shared toilette.
The hotel offers you a buffet breakfast for $7 euros, I thought it was a little too expensive but it beats going out and looking for a place to eat.
Warning - the hotel has no elevator so if you have problems with stairs - this is not the place for you!!!
The hotels is a straight shot from downtown whether you want to use the street car or walk so it is very convenient.
Internet access - poor - it is only offered in the common room and that room reeks of cigarette smoke. The few times I was there I had to open the windows otherwise you fell like you are going to choke (if you are a non-smoker).
Parking - When I called I was told by a super nice woman that I could have one of the limited parking spaces the hotel has if there was a space available when I arrived - which there was. Starting on the second day of my 5 day stay another woman took over the counter and she was the only person in my entire stay in Austria who was mean and super unhelpful - it seemed to me like she would provide the 4 parking spots to her preferred guests even though that first night they parked 5 cars in the courtyard. When I tried to explain that to her she was extremely negative and even lied about her departure time. So beware if you have a car - you may have to pay for street parking or a garage if you are not liked by this staff person.
