I stay here quite often. Wonderful location; underground parking, opposite the train station and 5 minutes walk into town. Comfortable sized rooms, amazing traditional suites. Great service at breakfast. Dinner can be very traditional tyrolean.
All in all a super hotel. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast selection and friendly staff. The only gripe I do have is when going to breakfast, you're shown to your table, but not offered coffee or tea. This happened on both mornings, so obviously not a one off. You either then have to grab the attention of the waiting staff or track one down in the restaurant.
We stayed in room no.202 which is on the second floor. This room is on the front side of the hotel facing the Innsbruck railway station. What makes this room special is not only the nice view it offers but the fact that it has a balcony too. Remember, only rooms on 2nd floor facing the railway station have balconies! The room is very cozy with setting for dimming room lights as per your liking. The bathroom has a bidet too!
Very well located hotel next to the train station and near the city center. Only the check-in was a bit slow: first we were asked to wait and forgotten. Only after we complained we got offered a coffee. The coffee at their bar is good. Also we liked the breakfast buffet with the Dirndl service.
The hotel is fine, there are a few things which aren't updated. The biggest shock was that it's much different than what the pictures on the website depict; the room we had was smaller, darker, and didn't seem as clean or updated as what the website shows. However the staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant and bar/lobby areas were great.
The service was super pleasant. Although our room was not ready when we arrived, because we were early (before the check-in time), it was quickly managed to clean the room. The staff managed to let us in the two booked rooms not even 15 minutes after our arrival. The staff was very kind and the rooms were clean and nice. We could also keep our luggage after checking out until our train had arrived. But if you visit by car you have to pay extra, cause there is no free parking. Just the regular one from the central railway station. The rooms were very quiet although the traffic (cars, trains) are next to the hotel. They have two windows (right behind one is the next) when the room is fronting the street.
Great location with some good views from the rooms. A little dated and could do with some renovation. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The Queen of England also stayed here when she visited.
Lovely traditional hotel. Food, particularly breakfast was excellent. Rooms large and well presented. Enjoyed our stay.
Very nice rooms. Sophisticated controls for lights and curtains. Breakfast was good. Only complaints are that the shower door was hard to move and some of the sophisticated controls did not work intuitively. Recommend.
I was told it’s the only 5 star hotel in Innsbruck. Felt like a 4 star at the most. Service and room felt like 4 star. Breakfast 4 star. Location across from the train station but quiet at night. But the action is really closer to the river which is a good 15 minutes’ walk away. Lobby décor a little dated and tired. Room spacious and comfortable but by no mean luxurious. A little disappointed.
Located near to the main train station and travel hub, very convenient. Lovely large sized rooms. The staff are really helpful and charming. The only minor criticisms I have are the following. That the air conditioning seems to want to warm us when we want to just stay cool, though it is unusually warm for this time of year. The toilet had an unpleasant smell when I arrived though the purchase and use of some air freshening spray solved that, I also suspect the air extraction in the bathroom might not be perfect. Though I love the marble bathroom the fittings don't cover some holes in the tiles going into the walls, also the refinish on the bath surface is coming off on the side. But having said that I found a great deal on the room and these have had no effect on the enjoyment on my stay.
