  Awesome place. We drove an entire day and were looking for a quick meal late in the evening. They have a small menu with local food available until midnight.
  We had the Wiener schnitzel and it was awesome!

  Austrian cuisine as it is and as it should be. Proper portions as tasty as it can get. I warmly recommend you try the Schweinsbraten (roast pork) with bread dumplings - the best comfort food the country has to offer and in summer the garden is a great place to sit and enjoy a beer or two.

  This restaurant has the menu in English and German. The restaurant has two large rooms a smoking room and a non smoking room. Non smokers enter from the front. The smoker room will kill you! Unfortunately the WC are in the smoking area so go before you get to the restaurant.
  We ordered a large grilled platter for two, french fries and pancakes for the kids.
  The fries were yucky. The pancakes were ok. The meat on the grill average, the vegetables on the grill sensational. The grill also came with a salad which was great as well.
  
  In summer you could use the outdoor seating area.

  This is my favorite place in Salzburg. The food is impecable, I've never had a bad meal here. But it's the atmosphere--friendly, but still clearly more a local crowd than a touristy one--that makes it an almost weekly stop when we're in town. (It was also my husband's old haunt before he moved to the US, so I love it a little more than most folk might for the stories he tells while we're there.)

  big guest room for non smoker, bit loud, but EXCELLENT food! one of the best beer gardens in Salzburg.

  Good service, decent food. Not badly priced. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but as the location was convenient, it was perfect for what we needed.
