Nice holiday resort offering combination of privacy and services. Staying in private challette gives you possibility to be totally independent, on the other side there is spa, swiming pool and restaurant in the main building.
Staff was very kind and helpful, challetts clean and good maintained. See is just 3 minutes, skiing about 10 by car.response / report this review -

This resort is really nice!
Good location , which near the train station.
Free facilities ,like swimming poor and park.
You can walk to Hallstatt, it takes 30mins.
The best time to walk there is early morning, the weather is so nice!

Warning!!!
The location marked in this google map was wrong! The actual location is 900 meters away to the west of this mark.
Also, the sign at the site indicates only "Resort Obertraun" without the title "Dormio"

It's a nice place for family vacations. The homes are spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately it's far from big skiing resorts.
The common areas were disappointing; the spa for instance was costly and only opened until 18h. For the price (9€/person) you don't get a towel or anything else (not even water for the sauna rocks).
