Beautiful place outside, great food and service. I ordered scrambled eggs and crossiant my dad ordered Well done boiled eggs and Semmel with honey and butter by the side. The scrambled eggs was perfect. The waiter was so nice. Everything was perfect. Note to those scared of insects: there's alot of insects there a bee was coming and going on me, but don't let that stop you!

Typical viennese cafe. Very cosy. Friendly service. Expensive but similar cafes have comparable prices. Has a garden to sit outside. Seems to be a bit less touristic and to attract more the locals.

Used to be called Café Haag.
Luckily, very little has changed. Loads of newspapers.
Only four points, because the waiter constantly popped by to ask if he could bring us something. In the coffee house you should be left in peace.

Accidentally found it, and since then I felt in love with the place.
By walking the old town, I was looking for a place to rest my feet for a few minutes, so this way I found this place. The cafe was full of locals, which was a good sign for me (I prefer to look for authentic local places, instead of those which serves the tourists). The coffee and a berry pie were just fantastic, and the service was quick.
Since then, I visited the place on different occasions, and ate there my lunches, which never disappointed me.
Although the place serves mainly the locals, it does have an English menu and an average prices (in Austrian standards).
Definitely a recommended place. Just remember, except small sign above the entrance, there is almost no other indicators of the place, so it can be somewhat difficult to find it for the first time.

The calm -and less pricy - version of the fancy Café Diglas. A most special place is the garden under the trees with a real functioning monastery just next door. Get away from the city noise here. Relaxation guaranteed!

Went there twice. Very cute cafe. Good food quality. Affordable prices. Quick and professional service. Well-built menu. If you want to enjoy the sweets, come earlier, since by end of the day they run out of them.
