!!!WARNING!!!
I bought a Burton Ion Step on boots and bindings for
swapping 720 euros.
I wasn't convinced about the size of the boots and they didn't had more sizes at stock. The seller convinced me that the size is good for me. So I took them.
In the next day I realized that the boots are too big for me and I won't be able to use them.
So I went back to store to return them, but they refused to give me the money back and offered only a voucher.
They said that the website and store policies are different.
I'm very angey about this situation because the seller saw that I was confused about the size and didn't said a word regarding the return policy.
It feels like they did everything they could to make me buy the boots without be honest.
*Edit after the shop comment:*
According to the customer service, any exception from the policy is up to the shop, this is why the customer service couldn't help.
And again, it's easy to cancel credit card charge, I had a shop in my country, I know how it works (e.g: if you charge customer with the wrong value, you will cancel the charge right?)
And reguding the seller, he could been honest and say that I wouldn't be able to get my money back, again, he saw that I wasn't sure regarding the size. The only thing he did is to try and convince me that the size is right.
So I feel like the shop failed in 3 parameters:
1. Seller customer service.
2. Not open minded in this special case of returning the same brand new item which wasn't used at all (those boots are measured by customers at shop as well). So you could sell them again as brand new, since they are brand new. The shop wouldn't loose nothing (2% credit card fee I would pay with pleasure).
3. The shop didn't even offer any compensation.
So again, I hope you will learn from this case, I know I alredy learned.
