After a mix up due to an error on the booking website we thought it had all been taken care of. The room and breakfast was meant to be for 2 people but kept showing as for 1 person. Unfortunately we had to deal with it again on the first morning of our stay which was a little frustrating as the fault was not ours. The thought of being charged an additional 24 Euros per night did not sit well. The hotel room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Unfortunately, even after contacting the hotel months in advance, we were given 2 single beds pushed together - and what appears to be a sofa bed as an additional sleeping facility. I had even pointed out that this trip to Vienna was for our honeymoon. The overall standard of the hotel is decent enough for the money, although could be doing with a lick of paint in some areas. I.e - the walls just outside our room have dark liquid run marks and scrape marks. The reception area, lift, breakfast area are clean amd well maintained. We particularly like the fish in the floor just at the reception desk. Location is good with lots of facilities nearby. A brisk walk of around half an hour can easily take you into Vienna city centre. We took an Uber one evening back into the city when we were going for a meal and it cost approx 5 Euros, well worth it on a cold evening after a long day trekking around. In summary: apart from the confusion and the receptionist being reluctant to accept that the booking issue was the hotels and the other minor details mentioned that could have been better - it was a decent enough hotel. Price and Location were good which balanced things out. Vienna itself is stunning! We came in late November after our wedding as we liked the idea of the xmas markets etc. You wont be disappointed.

One of the worst hotels ever! It's like a really expensive hostel! The personal is unhelpful and the rooms are very small, although clean. I cannot describe the noise from the other rooms it's like they are in the same room , you can hear everything from the sounds they make in the bathroom to the snoring and talking - you hear clearly every f***** noise, it's just unbelievable, not a hotel for rest. It's a hotel from hell!!!

Everything you would expect from a hotel such as clean rooms, sheets, towels etc. Free WiFi. Good selection for breakfast and helpful receptionists.

Clean and breakfast was nice however there is no air con which isn't good on 33 Deg heat! Also we were rudely woken up at 5 am from banging from them setting up for breakfast! Do not go into room 001 or 002 as these are ground floor outside the courtyard and then you will get woken up! When we complained the receptionist was very rude but did allow to move rooms eventually! Was a shame as the location of the hotel is pretty good for Vienna but could be closer to main attractions!

Very nice hotel with big and clean rooms. Has a lobby room where you can make yourself a free coffee or tee. Staff is nice. Hotel is in a walking distance grom city center, for about 15 minutes.

Nice location, the room had everything we needed and it was very clean. Quit place but close to metro station, easily reached from the main train station. We really liked the breakfast, they also offer gluten or lactose free food upon request.

I stayed for four days and three nights in September. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable enough. Location is not that great, the only tourist attraction remotely close is Prater. The bathroom is okay but quite uncomfortable.

Let me start by saying that the hotel is quite average. We had a problem with a clogged shower drain, it really wasn't solved though they did try to fix it.
We stayed in the groudfloor room no 005. The room smelled quite musty.
The real problem is the area. Its seedy. The hotel shares it walls with a large sex shop, in fact there was some film shooting happening with people hopping in and out of the hotel and the shop.
We noticed many seedy establishments on our way tho the Prater station. Not a comfortable place to walk around with young ones!
Oh and the WiFi is patchy!response / report this review
