The people make the place. Renovation is still ongoing and it is not your big brand (sounds like Narriott) resort. It's better. A family owns this establishment and they are all chipping in to make this place feel like home while you are here. The location is central and close to the airport for the business commuter but remote enough that you won't notice the air traffic while watching the waves. Black volcanic beaches require shoes for the adventurous but we'll worth the hike. It's common to see an assortment of tropical fish a surprisingly large hermit crab or two and sea turtles. Dolphins occupy the horizon during the summer and the man made, combination spring water and ocean water pool beach side is an absolute experience. There is no doubt I'll stay here next time I'm in this part of the world again.

Hard to find Resort, has just reopened for 6 months, refurbishment ongoing, amenities are basic, rooms are very clean, tidy and comfortable new bedding with AC, High speed internet on Wi-Fi available, TV room. Host and staff are just great, very friendly and helpful with anything from local sites, essentials shopping, cultural matters. Food is not gourmet, served buffet style or can be to order but strictly local cuisine, and large servings. After a hard day out, its like coming home to mamas cooking. The location is rugged volcanic foreshore, no traffic noise, just the sound of breaking surf. Great cooling off swimming hole. Stunning sunrise, no two days the same, facing due east. Spectacular lightning displays most evenings on the horizon. Resort hosted adult group of 21 easily. If you were on tight budget and needed extended stay of over 3 or 4 days, MM Beach Resort highly recommended, also 15-20mins from Airport. I gave it 4 stars because of hospitality from hosts, made the stay a breeze from day 1. We were here for 14 days.

Was lovely to spend quality time woth le owner and his beautiful wife😍😍😍 Best day and it was my first time in Tutuila☺☺☺ Thanks to my friend Papalii for everything while I was enjoying my short stay in Tutuila also for the the owner and the one band guy for the oppturnity fore to able to sing there💖💖
