Fantastic option for Buenos Aires, right next to the Intercontinental Hotel. Very central, excellent condition. Argentinian breakfast guarenteed to give you a toothache just from looking at it.

Rooms are tiny as are the bathrooms which are barely adequate.The doors to them hit you on the knees if you're sitting. The rooms clean but a little shopworn. The lobby is huge & some computers are available as is with fi which is free. The couches are threadbare & saggy. There's an area used for serving the continental breakfast. That meal if, that's what you would call it, is minimal & consists of mostly sweet breads, children's colored cereal, watery juice, milk, coffee & hot water for one kind of tea. The staff are very polite & helpful throughout.
We did benefit from the central location of this hotel. It was within walking distance of 4 lines of the subte or subway, the government center, various neighborhood restaurants, San Telmo, & Calle La Florida.
Though we walked around late at night we felt safe around the area for the most part.

🇦🇺stayed 1 week: clean, tidy, large rooms, professional service hotel. Close walking distance to many city sights. Very Argentinian breakfast (sweets & questionable coffee) by western custom. Bathrooms have see through windows so don't 'bunk' with a friend unless privacy isn't a concern. Nearby to Intercontinantal hotel & awesome bars and San Telmo market. Wouldn't pay any more than $US80 max per night for a queen double (June 2017). There's a bank ATM across the road too which is convenient. About 650 pesos booked transfer to international airport (or 450 with Uber). Minibar is water only. They have free wifi and also a few desktop computers accessible in the lobby area, thought that with Spanish keyboards. Would stay again. Staff helpful with requests such as booking tours or offering suggestions. Do a day trip to Uraguay!

Lovely hotel, little awkward that you can hear and see pretty much everything going on in the bathroom from the beds (I was sharing a twin with a friend, luckily). But the rooms themselves are clean and not a bad size, and we were in a good position for exploring the city on foot.

The location is close to the main square with Casa Rosada, but in the immediate few blocks from the hotel there is nothing but gray buildings. Hotel itself is very clean and neat, though room bathrooms are a bit strange. The only thing separating shower from the beds area is a glass with the bottow half matted out, but the top one clear. A bit of an awkward setting for those who value privacy of the bathroom. The rooms also get pretty warm in the summer, but I hear in BA in general you are not allowed to set a/c below certain temperature, so that's understandable. One thing I found weird is that hotel doors are always locked and you are buzzed in and out. This made me question the safety of the surrounding neighborhood.

The rooms are very good and modern, buffet breakfast, gym equipment, free wifi. Located few steps from Plaza de Mayo, and with kindly multilingual concierge personnel.
