Nice suite. Good continental breakfast. Good location. Helpful front desk folks speak perfect English.
My stay was 3 weeks long. My family and I discovered lots of maintenance issues and the lack of quality and quantity of their breakfast. Front desk staff was excellent and because of them I would come back and recommend it for a short stay. The hotel is pretty, clean, the location is unbeatable and the yard with grass and pool are something really hard to find in Buenos Aires - however it clearly needs attention and capital from the owner/s.
The hotel is well situated and close to Palermo street markets and night life. Very attractive grounds make it an oasis in a busy city. Beds ate outstanding and linen high quality. Try and avoid street side rooms on the weekend
Room 22 is part of the atrium where breakfast is served and has paper thin walls. Prepare to hear every word of every conversation and every clink of glass starting at 7:45am. Love the property, location, and staff, but restful sleep is most important to me. I suspect rooms 20, 21, and 23 (next door) are the same. Request other rooms if you can. Might not be as bad at other times of the year since the hotel was particularly busy (completely sold out) during my whole stay.
Update: was able to get a room change, though it took a bit more effort and waiting than I expected. Changing from one star to three.
A great way to get away from the hustle of Buenos Aires
So beautiful, cosy, with fantastic service.
Beautiful oasis in a bustling city. The gentlemen that run the reception desk speak excellent English and are extremely kind, courteous, and patient. Roberto has an engaging sense of humor and we felt like we were chatting with an old friend! Roberto, Jose and Gabriel provided great customer service and we were beyond satisfied with our four day stay - we wish we had stayed longer! The specific room we had was small, but comfortable and met our needs as we were hardly there (the most comfortable bed I had in my two weeks in Argentina). The grounds are gorgeous and we spent our time out in the courtyard or breakfast dining area when not exploring Palermo and the city. It was so peaceful to return there each night.
After 600+ nights staying in hotels over the past 4 years, i can easily say this hotel offered the best experience. The beautiful hotel, great location, wonderful rooms and price were great, but the service out did all of these, truly exemplary. Not overbearing but accommodating and chill staff. I don't know what i would have done if i had not found this gem after arriving late into town to go to the US embassy get an emergency passport.
