  Great place! Near San Telmo and Obelisco's monument. Breakfast is Argentinian one, so don't expect eggs or something like that. It's bread with sweet, milk and coffee. Sometimes they have cookies. Argentinians love light and sweet breakfast. You also have all the buses lines near and the metro system just two blocks from there. Nice beds and very quite at night! Thanks Hostel Sol!

  I've been travelling for 7 months now and this probably ranks as one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in. The only way I could describe it, would be to compare it to a prison.
  
  The bedroom (photos attached) have plain white bed sheets and a sponge pillow (you think I'm joking, check the photos). The walls are black with mould and just really horrid.
  
  The nights were so cold and our thin white sheet wasn't keeping us warm at all, so we grabbed our sleeping bag from our luggage.
  
  At this point, I wasn't bothered as we were only here for 1 day, so I thought I'd let it slide.
  
  Then came the shower, inmates are expected to shower in tiny cubicles that are unbelievably dirty and showers that are super grimy. Pretty awful, again, we had only one night booked here, not too fussed and at least the hot water was relatively well behaved. (you had to adjust the temperature regularly).
  
  Prisoners had to make their way to the breakfast room for 8am to 10am for a selection of water and bread pieces (you are also spoilt with warm milk, coffee and butter). Truly the worst breakfast I've ever had. By this point, I thought, this is a bit of a joke for £20. (again, check photos for proof).
  
  If you wanted to leave the 'Hostel', you had to ask permission from the gate keeper to let you out and you would have to pray there was someone there to let you back in if you were gone for a while (this happened to quite a few people).
  
  On being released from prison, we were constantly badgered by the staff on when we were actually going to leave, even going as far as having to give them a time of when we had to vacate by (it was literally mid day when we were asked).
  
  I honestly feel I would have enjoyed a night in prison much more than this and I would have saved a bomb.
  
  The price is cheaper than some, but I've paid £20 for luxury hostels in many parts of Argentina. There's really no excuse for this.
  
  I would recommend searching for a good Airbnb for the exact same price (as we have done with absolutely no regrets).

  We had some problems with our room. We arrived at the hostel after 11pm and it wasn't ready. They had to find us another room. The beds were not comfortable (too noisy) and the breakfast was too simple even for a hostel.

  I went there during my three day stay in Buenos Aires. Very nice and helpful people, staff as wel other guests. They really try to make you feel welcome, and they succeeded.
  Bathroom, breakfast and facilities are basic but no really problem if you don´t have a high standard.
