Beautiful church. Usually people coming to Garni to visit pagan temple and then directly going to Geghard, missing this nice church. It is 12-13 centuries church. Possibly created by the same Architektor as Geghard, or maybe his student. And the church is in very small but nice park full of wonderful khachkars.

Small Armenian church with old architecture elements like arcs and etc.. It is pleasant to look at it in the Autumn time. If you appear here it's very important to notice the atmosphere that the church and surrounding houses gives to you. It's something like an old Armenian fairy tale

Usually overlooked, this little but very charismatic piece of classical medieval Armenian architecture certainly deserves a visit while you are in Garni. Its surrounded by walnut trees and is in a very calming location inside Garni village.

The church is situated in Garni. Getting here is very easy! You can see this place when exploring Garni.
The church is small. The inside of the church is impressive! It is very tall inside! The church is covered with neat ornaments. It is surrounded with khachkars.
