Probably one of the most photographed churches in Antigua. Everyone was stopping for photos of this place. This was included in our tour of Antigua

The St. Barnabas Anglican (Episcopal) Church in Liberta Village, Antigua is one of the most photographed church in the Antiguan Countryside and rightfully so. The striking green stone exterior from a nearby quarry has lent to the renown of the location, there are other churches in the area using the similar stones however this Church seems to be more famous for it.

The church itself is not very large but its rich history and interesting architectural style seem to add to its overall appeal. Popularly visited by tourists and locals alike, this church is opened for viewing or for a quiet visit of reflection if you prefer. This Church is a sister Church to the St. Paul's Anglican (Episcopal) church in Falmouth Village (It took me a while to get the Paul and Barnabas thing).

Definitely an interesting place to visit either for a service or event or to just observe the place when no activities are in session.
